Very small but they have a ton of incredible yarn, handbags, needles, gadgets and kind of everything. Nothing is priced but, whatever, they give you a pricelist or you can ask. I never had someone offer to make a custom pattern and they did. I can knit anything for anyone that's anysize. Jennifer does it . crazy, right? they also give you free help without having to take a class. I just walked in and they showed me how to fix my weird hole, but I did have to wait like 10 minutes to get the help. I think this is a very easy and fun place to shop. loved all the girls who work there.

This shop caters to high-end clients. Jennifer and several of her staffers are wonderful people and amazing knitters, but I can't afford to do more than visit and fondle the yarn. It is very cramped and if you actually need help, you need to put your name on the list as soon as you walk in. Regardless, you need to bring your patience when you visit this shop, but if you can spare the time, its a neat place to check out. They DO validate for the large parking lot across Barrington Place, you just need to ask!

I knit at Jennifer Knits all the time. They have amazing yarns, very helpful, friendly staff, and Jennifer is a fabulous patternmaker! I was shocked and kind of annoyed when I read the review posted by nytransp. The yarn is not priced, but there are about 6 price lists floating around the store and no matter how busy it is someone is always willing to hand you one or look the price up in the computer. They couldn't possibly price all of the yarn when they are getting new shipments daily. Secondly, I am not sure how this woman missed the huge 1,000 spot veterans parking lot located on Barrington Place just a few steps from Jennifer Knits, which Jennifer will validate you for two hours. I have been to knit shops all around the United States, and I have never been to one more helpful than Jennifer Knits.

Nice shop & nice people but the selection was not what I had heard about. It's pricier than other shops. It's VERY cramped, I had to work around an employee sitting on the floor eating her lunch to get to the needles. Nothing is priced, you have to ask, I like being a self sufficient shopper but that's just me. Parking is an issue, I called & described where I was parking including the name of the business I was in front of and I was told they validate. They only validate for the lot right in front of their shop which is about a dozen spots. They don't validate for the lot directly across the street. It's easy to park in the wrong lot because they have very similar names, I paid for parking. Overall a nice shop but not worth the trip for me.

I was there the first week the shop opened two years ago and since then it has been perpetually busy. I went and signed up for a weekend class and have been happily knitting ever since. Jennifer and her staff are wonderful. She runs workshops for beginners and finishing. Her selection of yarns and books is wonderful. She has a great selection of baby yarn and, if you are just looking for a gift, tons of hand-knit sweaters, scarves hats and the like. I cant recommend this shop enough.
