Iron Works 21

I have known and have been doing business with Oscar since 2003 and I have not had any problems with him nor with his crew. Oscar is a very nice, helpful, respectful and professional man with many years of experience. All of his prices are reasonable and a deposit is only trustworthy of a person wanting serious business specially when working with thousands of dollars. I definitely think it's fair if the price goes up when changing the work design after closing a contract. I also am a business person and I dislike when customers think they can get away with free stuff knowing it requires more money and labor. He has done all of my iron work at my house, store and buildings and I have always been very happy and satisfied with the work. I've been referring Oscar for the past 10 years to family, friends and customers of mine and I've heard nothing but wonders of him and his work. I highly recommend Iron Works 21 when seeking for custom iron work.

ZERO STARS! Never have I had such terrible service from a "contractor". It was only after the fact that I found out that the owner of Iron Works 21, Oscar, doesn't even have a C-23 contractor’s license, nor any contractor’s license for that matter (makes me wonder if he has a business license). We asked for two fences, two rolling gates, a double entry gate, and two side gates back in late November 2015. He assured me that it would be completed as I asked by March 2016. His crew had to come back three times to install the front fences and they were still wrong. In May I visited his shop and find that nothing has been done to modify the fences/gates. His excuse, I had other work I had to do. What!! I demanded my deposit back (nearly one third of the total) and he says I’ll have to take him to court if I want it back. Well, that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I tried to be a good neighbor and keep my business local and what do I get, ripped-off. STAY AWAY FROM IRON WORKS 21.
