So, don't know where all these bad reviews came from, but I can say that I have never had a bad experience dealing with Image.
I've never had trouble getting my phone serviced or replaced and I've been there a couple of times since I am, admittedly, very clumsy when it comes to phones.

This place has been around for a long time and I'm amazed they are able to stay in business. The main guy (owner? manager?) is always there and seems to have some following, mainly of young kids. I guess he has a good location right in the heart of Westwood. Anyway, they have always tried to upsell me and have been rude when needing to deal with them. The only reason I went to them was that I had no choice - if I wanted to keep my pager number, they would be the people I had to deal with for service. Most recently they are trying to more than double their rates for pager service and not tell you about it. Something happened to the pager service provider (out of business) and when you go into their store for the ""free"" resetting of pager (so you can continue service), the guy does the resetting and then tells you if you want service you'll have to pay more money. When told that the service of resetting was explained as being free, he tells you that is only for resetting the pager - SERVICE will cost more. What a joke. I'm canceling my service with them and have found another pager service that will cost 1/4 what Image Paging and Cellular wants to charge. My suggestion is to avoid going there at all - there are plenty of other shops to buy phones and service. Just drive down Wilshire Blvd or Westwood Blvd a few blocks. If you're doing business with them currently, just keep an eye on the bills and be prepared for someday having to deal with some greedy, unethical people.

This is the worst place in the world to get your phone fixed! I gave them my phone after they told me it would take 7-10 business days and when I called to ask about the status of my phone and I was cussed at on several occasions. They call me back after one month of having my phone and tell me that my phone was broken beyond repair. ( it took them a month to figure that out.) They then tried to charge me for a brand new phone like the one I had. I refused and told them to send my phone back to me broken, and that's what they did. They broke the screen to my phone and they removed the charger compartment of my phone. When I called to let them know that my screen was broken they called me a b@#$& and told me not to call their fu@Kingf store again. I plan to take them to court. Whatever you do DONT DO B USINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're terriblel and they should close their doors. They have the worst cosumer service in the world!!!! They seem really friendly in the beginning but don't be fooled. They're terrible. Go somewhere else to get your phone fixed.
