One word: awesome! I was looking for something new and original on saturday evening. I came up with the idea to scout out for some good ole American comfort food ... Well here it is :) Just the right restaurant I was looking for: atmosphere is great, service over the top and the menu made me hungrier than when I came throught the door! Man it's been more than two years I haven't eaten fried chicken that was simply delightful! I've eaten 75% of it, and it can easily feed me for the next day. Amazing! I can't wait to go back and taste the rest of the menu! This place has another fan!! ;) Amesome beers.

I like this place for the great food and reasonable prices. My favorites: Sampler platter, onion rings and their Aspen sandwich. Lately we started hanging out after dinner and discovered that place becomes a major scene on Weekends and Wednesday mystery beer night. Great scene with mixed crowd, diverse crowd. It gets really crazy on Wednesday after 8pm so get there early. I would recommend this place because you feel that you are appreciated.

All I can say is .... Mystery Beer Night ... which falls on a Wed. the onion rings are tasty as well are the wings . The Place is more of a beer bar to me .. nice spot to take a friend that is into beers. you got your choice from all over the globe.. ... they got big beers here as well .. i had some beer from India that must have been 12% or something cuz i was pretty ....spilt after it .. put it this way
they got a lil something from damn near everywhere ..

I am a REAL customer of Good and love it. The beer sampler is amazing and I've got to say that to my tastes the food rocks. I take everyone here and they take everyone and the happiness grows like those spam ""if you don't send this to 50 people you'll die miserable and alone"" chain emails--except with alcohol and the Coachella Sandwich. wow.

Dear Potential Restaurant Go'ers,
Many many of the 5 star reviews here are FAKE. They are done by the owners or the shills working for the owners, to OFFSET the authentically bad reviews of this restaurant here. Just notice.... as soon as someone who's eaten there gives this place a bad review, there will be a bunch of 5 star reviews that follow after.
In fact, if you click on the good reviewers' names, you'll see they've NEVER reviewed a restaurant before or since -- just this one. It's such a shame that the owner(s) of this terribly crappy restaurant must resort to this, RATHER than actually improve their food. I even wrote the owner after my visit there recently, and guess what? No response. Why? They know their food is awful, and I predict this restaurant will eventually close. Might take another year or couple years, but having spoken now with others who've been there, I have yet to hear anyone I personally know recommend this place. Everyone says the same thing: Good place for beer, but terrible food.
To the owner(s) who monitor the reviews at this site: Why don't you get off your rears and actually serve good food? Why must you squeeze all the profit you can from unsuspecting patrons, of who many will not return to eat there? Guess you'd just rather make what you can while you can, before ""cutting and running."" Good luck with that.

We all loved this place and had such a wonderful time. The beer selection is big and so are their portions. If you go home hungry you have a problem cause the food is good. Our service was excellent considering they were so darn busy. Very polite staff and friendly. We will all be back soon and can honestly say this is one of the nicest places in Silver Lake. And it's a good place with good food and people.
If you're on a date, this is one perfect place to go and very close to Los Feliz.! I bought my girlfriend here 4 days ago and it was a blast, the food was really good and the place was upbeat and lively at the time. The menu is broad with almost everything you could ask for. The beer selection is amazing.
Excellent food and beer. Goos prices and the people are real nice and helpful. This place is a down right fun place and not pretentious. This is the kind of place you can bring your friends from out of town and have a great time and show off all the beers they have.
My Mom lives near Good Microbrew & whenever I'm in town I make her take me to Good. For those of you who have never had their burgers or fried chciken - try it! I bet you will come back for more. Mom & her friends like the meatloaf & some go straight for the chicken. The music is a cool- but the decor is fun & the staff is very friendly.
This place is just plain fun to be at. The Vibe is very cool. Always great music, good service, a killer beer menu and satisfying food. I like this place becuase its not pretencious and its just about having a damn good time! Check it out...
If you want a 5 star dinning experience then go to Beverly Hills. good is good for the value, quality and service. Nah it's one of the great places in Silver Lake to be seen to drink and have a nice brew with friendly people and staff!
Finger Lickin' Good
I never have been to good however went there once and can not stop going. The turkey burgers are good but Beef burger on the other hand is just outstanding. It is hard to top a burger from there, it does not help the fact that the roll it is on is as good as the burger itself. Check it out you won't be dissapointed.

The beer selection is amazing, and the food menu offers something for everyone, with an emphasis on high-end diner/cafe fare. However, as a hard core beer enthusiast, I was a bit disappointed that they did not have more than 5 or so beers on tap. Also, the beer menu, while organized well (both by region and style of beer), did not include prices, so be sure to ask before ordering if you're on a budget. One negative for me was that while I can't speak for the other servers, ours did not seem to know much about beer...I asked for a recommendation based on what I liked and did not get a helpful response. Overall, my experience was positive, but I probably would not return unless I lived closer (I live on the Westside).

So I have never given a ""bad"" review in my life, and part of the reason is that I put in 12 years of food service myself, as a server and GM. However, my visit to ?GOOD? last Friday tipped the scale of my review tenure from a low of ""Average"" to ""Below Average"". Bottom line is this... i don't know how ?GOOD? the food really is, because after being promptly seated with 3 friends, at a great seat by the window, the ?GOOD? times ended. We waited approximately 10 minutes for the ?welcome? greeting by our server. At which point we then ordered a variety of beers. The selection is incredible. So we waited another 20 minutes to order food. As my watch topped 1 hour and 10 minutes of sitting time, I confronted our server a 2nd time about our food, and was informed that the burgers we had ordered were in the window and the bacon quesadilla was on the grill. Really? After being basically ignored for over an hour, total table visits by our ""server"" equaling 3, I had to wait on a quesadilla??? In server language, this means our order was either never rung in or it was lost. But instead of someone addressing the situation, and the restaurant was not even busy, we we're left to order beers through the runner at the next table, and watch the two top next to us get sat, order food, and eat in the time it took us to get 2 rounds of beers. Pretty unacceptable. I ordered the food boxed up before it even got to the table, due to the fact we were trying to make a show, ate in the car, and watched the ?GOOD? sign fade into the distance of my rear view, as it faded off of the list of places I will ever visit again. I know what it's like to be in the weeds, or mess up an order, but I don't think I have just been as blatantly ignored I was at ""GOOD"". Great service can overcome mediocre food, but the best of cuisine gets lost when your service team stinks.

I can not say enough good things about good. It is hard to believe that this restaurant isn't being opened up in other parts of Los Angeles. The menu changes about every 3 months so you can always try new things. It is unbelievable how tender the steaks were. I have to concede that this is one of very few restaurants I trust to take the waiter's recommendations. That is all I will say. Except for the beers. Oh the beers will make you turn from a wine lover to a beer lover. It's outrageous how many items are on their beer menu!
