Goldstar's (on line name for golden) prices are great, but I wouldn't buy a thing from them. My order of a #12 Grommet die for their press (purchased previously) was delivered on time, but when I went to use the press, only half of the grommet was crushed. We made about 10 attempts to use the die, meticulously following the instructions, but it did the same thing every time. I contacted the owner by phone and explained the problem and followed up with photos of the die and the crushed grommets. I did not hear back for close to a month. I called and left a message. No response. A week later, my husband called and the owner did speak with him but was abrupt and short. We agreed to ship the die back to him, at our expense. I shipped the die and requested a signature at delivery which I got, so I know he received the die. A week later, still nothing. My husband called again, and was told that he had the die but needed to look at it. My husband called several more times speaking to the owner, David. Each time David said he would call back. Not once did the owner call us back or respond to numerous messages left for him. When my husband at last spoke to the owner, we were promised that he would either fix our die or send a new one. We have still heard nothing further. So I own 100 #12 Grommets (at least 10 of which are now unusable due to being crushed by the defective die) with no way to apply them to my drapes. Their prices and delivery look great, but be aware that if anything goes wrong, you're completely on your own. The owner will lie to your face and do nothing to resolve any issues. I would hate to see anyone else have this experience and flush their hard earned money down the drain the way we did.
