Unprofessional, disrespectful, “0”customer service.

Made appointment on 09.22 for 09.23 for 2 pm, also received email before that. Showed up on time, spent in total 1,5 hours on freeways, few bucks for parking, just to find out from only one employee at work, who was accountant that “I am so sorry, today is Jewish Holiday, Can you come tomorrow?" You are kidding me right. They had so many chances to call me or send email prior to my arrival and notified me that it was canceled and/or rescheduled. Anyhow for business that according their statement “We are a family owned business since 1983 here in Downtown LA" I think it is very very unacceptable. I would not trust this people just because the way they treat their customers.

Gem Dynasty was the missing piece to my engagement ring proposal plan. I'm so thankful that my co-worker told me about them because he was actually a previous client of Gem Dynasty when he was looking for an Engagement ring in Los Angeles Diamond and Jewelry District. Frank was very helpful in guiding me in this entire process. Some of my friends had a difficult time finding their wives an engagement ring because they had bad experiences on the retail stores that they went. Frank and his employees treated me so well and I believed that I've got the best deal that I won't get if I go to some jewelry stores in the mall or locally. I highly recommend Gem Dynasty and I absolutely love the engagement ring that I got from them.

I am sure that all men can relate that finding a diamond engagement ring is one of the most nerve racking experienced. You've got a perfect bride and it’s a must to have the perfect diamond engagement ring for her. I explored myself at the famous LA diamond district area and I got overwhelmed with the huge diamond engagement rings around area. It made me feel more confused and hesitant to buy until a friend of mine strongly referred Gem Dynasty. True enough, upon arrival at their office, I was closely guided by the owner himself, Frank, who was so down-to-earth and an honest dealer in town. He made it so easy by providing me the best line of quality loose diamonds (not to mention the uniqueness of the engagement rings that he has) yet keeping me within my budget but beyond my expectation. Definitely a Two thumbs up for Frank and Gem Dynasty!!!!!

2 Thumbs up for the prices and excellent customer service!!! My fiancee and I went together to get her engagement ring and shopped around LA Diamond and Jewelry District. We found Gem Dynasty and worked with Frank, who brought an amazing professionalism and expertise but with a non-pushy and patient attitude. We didn't know much of anything about loose diamonds (grading, clarity, etc) but Frank took the time to really show us the ropes. He brought out diamonds of differing grades for us to compare, and at no time did we feel pressured to get something out of our price range. You can even see the markup on the diamonds if you wish! They will work with you to find something that is gorgeous and within your budget. It's highly recommended especially if you are around the area. Very please that we found Gem Dynasty!!

My girlfriend and I were shopping for a specific engagement ring. We already have the wedding bands as gift from my parents but I was expecting the worse actually (either it would cost us more for a custom-made ring or get a setting that is something close but less perfect to my bride). But Gem Dynasty proved me wrong! They made magic! They showcased quite a selection of diamond engagement rings as if perfectly done for our band. I was also given the chance to choose the setting within my price range. Really there is no harm in trying. Thank you so much Frank. You are the best!

We'll start off by saying that our experience was wonderful! I actually stumbled upon this place when I was in the building and was planning to go somewhere else but I didn't have an appointment so they turned me away. I looked somewhere and found Gem Dynasty, so I called the number and was let in without an appointment. I was greeted by Frank and explained to him, like many guys, that I had no idea what I was doing when it comes to diamond engagement rings. Frank did not pressure me at all and was so helpful explaining the basics and what to look for. Frank did a great job helping me pick out a diamond ring that my fiancée and her friends, absolutely LOVE!!! We couldn't be happier and Frank was a pleasure to work with. There is no doubt that we will go back to purchase our wedding bands from her next year.

I recently got engaged and was thrilled about getting an engagement ring of my choice. My boyfriend and I was pretty rookie in the diamond world so we did a researched online. The first thing that came up was Gem Dynasty having excellent feedbacks from their customers. Then we called and made an appointment with a courteous staff. And finally, I met Frank who was so professional to accommodate us. He has great sensitivity on my budget and other preferences, thus, maximizing the best stone possible. He is very honest and straightforward that brought me to a more relaxing and open atmosphere. And yes, I picked my certified loose diamond and my engagement ring and so happy about it!!!! (my friends could attest to that). Indeed, Frank doubtlessly provided a TOTAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!! I will not have a second thought of referring him to others I know.

I've been to so many places in Los Angeles Diamond District and to local shopping malls where all diamond jewelries were very promising but unaffordable! Feeling so hopeless until I found Gem Dynasty online with excellent reviews. At first, I was very skeptical on the wholesale price this company offers against their prime quality stones and gorgeous line of jewelries (may be a part of gimmick) but it's all real! I appreciate Frank’s help who directly oriented me with the diamond criteria and even extended his expertise on the possible engagement ring that matched the diamond. And most of all, I got a very good deal with extra money in my pocket. This company definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

THE BEST!! I went to multiple diamond places in LA Diamond and Jewelry District and not only were most of diamond rings are ticky tacky, but some of the places were downright rude when they found out I had a limited budget to spend. I'm so thankful that my friend mentioned that he got his ring from Gem Dynasty and I was really happy with the whole experienced. Frank was seriously the best customer-oriented person I ever met. He had a way of making me feel like a family or someone I've known forever. He was genuinely there to help me find just the right ring for my fiancee, not to just get me to drop a huge wad of cash. When dealing with something so important, emotional and special to me, it really meant a lot to have such a heart-warming encounter while finding the right ring. And best of all, my fiancee adores her new diamond ring! I highly recommended Gem Dynasty for everyone!

Want to make your fiancée melt? I know my wife did! I strongly recommend Gem Dynasty. I made a researched around LA Jewelry District looking for the perfect diamond ring and boy I believed I did a really good job! I went to the usual places where everyone goes and I just didn't like the designs or quality until I came across Gem Dynasty's office which surprisingly carries huge collections of diamonds and engagement rings. Frank was so fantastic guiding me in every step of the way. The customer service was superb going beyond my expectation. Two thumbs up for Gem Dynasty and definitely one of the BEST place in LA Jewelry District!!

Honest and pleasant business man. There are a lot of shady dealers and scammers in the Jewelry District market in Downtown Los Angeles. Frank is in a different universe. An honest universe! He is the real deal. A key advantage is the degree to which he uses "transparency." I was able to understand before I arrived how it would work and what I could expect. He weighed my diamond and gold as I watched. We talked about so much, that when I left I considered him as a friend. I will recommend him to everyone I know! (How often do you feel inspired to do that?) He is terrific, honest, pleasant businessman who treats you fairly and pay generously. I was very impressed with him and the way he does business. I count myself lucky that I found him on the internet and went to him. I had spoken with other jewelers and diamond exchange businesses. Those others don't even come close to the integrity and fairness that Gem Dynasty.

"Happy Customers, Happy life." As a guy, an engagement ring is likely your biggest purchase aside from a car or a home. It can be very intimidating and since you probably don't know much about diamonds (you haven't spent a good portion of your life fantasizing about the ring like your potential fiancé) so it's easy to get ripped off. I get crazy when I hear about guys going to mall or retail jewelers and overpaying for low quality jewelry (e.g. a girl I worked with got a $10000 Tiffany ring which you could barely see with the naked eye--you're paying a premium for the pretty blue box). At Gem Dynasty, Frank was really helpful, low pressure, family-run business. I bought a diamond engagement ring there and over the past few years I have bought wedding bands and some other diamond jewelries for my wife (careful lads, once they get a taste for shiny objects it doesn't go away). They have been very helpful and always work within budget and the pieces always appraised for higher than I paid.

Gem Dynasty is the BEST Diamond Wholesaler in the BIZ. They are professional, courteous, and they give you the best diamond for the buck. Trust me....Zales, Tiffany's, and any mall jewelry joints cannot compare with Gem Dynasty. Diamond engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, they do it all. I never felt pressured to buy anything (I had to put a deposit down once they made the setting) and felt comfortable with the ring making process. That is why this company is great. I will spare you the details of the proposal, but it was a major success. Even after she accepted the ring, we returned to Gem Dynasty to buy our wedding bands. We were very happy with our purchases. Brothers, get your engagement ring insured... you'll thank me later.

Gem Dynasty as their name goes is but a rare gem. The services extended to me stood out. First time I called and I was already given sufficient information I needed to know about buying a diamond. They carry a line of diamond engagement rings that is so unique as i've been to several places and couldn't find settings like those with Gem Dynasty. Not only that, their price is way way lower compared to other jewelers who claimed to be a wholesaler. I can proudly endorse this company to anyone out there. And I am giving a 6-star rate out of the superb experience I had with Gem Dynasty.

Simply a great place! I cannot think of a better experience than what I had at Gem Dynasty. I came into the place with the expectation of the store being just like all others are very uncomfortable and high-pressure. What I found was professional people passionate about the art / design and significance behind jewelry, and a great desire to make sure that their customers are comfortable with their purchase. I sat down with Frank and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and the fact that he took the time to make sure that I had the knowledge I needed to have in order to make an educated decision. The quality of service, of selection (the unique diamond engagement rings that they have was the reason I stumbled upon their establishment in the first place), and above all, the people, make this a place I will return to whenever I need to purchase jewelry in the future. In fact, I am actually excited to go back to Gem Dynasty to pick our our wedding bands in a few months...

Great Prices, Wonderful products, and very friendly staff. I was helped by Frank he was excellent. My fiance and I got both the engagement ring and wedding bands here and couldn't have been happier. They really know how to treat their customers right!!



The ring was beautiful, my fiance loved it the moment she saw it. The wedding bands were just as amazing, and they had such a variety. I loved how they could put the diamond into the ring of your choice to show you what it would look like. Instead of having a fake CZ in the ring like some of the other places.



They were the 6th place we stopped at downtown, so we definitely looked around.

Had a great experience here. Having shopped around, I knew I had found somewhere special when Frank told me "Yes please, go check out other places. I am confident I will win your business". My bride wanted a radiant cut, and there were slim to no pickings at most places. Frank had a few when I initially showed up, but he asked me to come back the next day and when I did he had a dozen great diamonds of various qualities. Most anywhere else would have had a much more complex process of bringing in diamonds to look at, let alone that quantity that weren't in stock.



Frank was very patient and spent a few hours showing me the various diamonds, rings, etc. all while maintaining a demeanor that felt more service than sales. While I ended up spending slightly more than I set out, I ended up with a diamond and ring much more spectacular than I thought possible.



We later worked out a custom design for the ring online (during the trip), and my fiance and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Although I initially went to the downtown jewelry district to find a good deal I never thought I would also find professional help and service. I was really not looking into becoming a diamond expert; therefore, I wanted a place I could trust in helping make my decision. Gem Dynasty provides more than good prices, they offer great customer service and really work hard so you leave happy with your purchase.



I try to be very careful with my purchases and I felt that Frank always tried his best to make sure I was happy with my final engagement ring decision. Frank is really passionate about his business and with his years of experience helps you find something you will love. Whenever I had doubts about my purchase (which happened more often than I like to admit) he was always there to answer questions I might have. They are good with getting back to you by phone, email, or in person of course.



Despite the fact that I made several trips to their place, they always treated me with great pleasure and patience. Not everything went perfect when I purchased my ring but I really liked the fact that any problem or concern I had they were always there to help. This is why I gave them 5 stars. They really made an effort to make sure I was not only happy but also confident with my purchase.



By the way, my fiancé loved her ring. I actually took her by one day so the Frank could answer some questions she had about her ring. I was proud to show her the professional service that comes with the ring.

I really could go on and on about how these place make the stressful process of buying an engagement ring fun. They offer not only a quality product but an old school experience that, quite frankly, helps set the whole tone of popping the question.



The bottom line here is that...she LOVES the ring...I mean, as in...I don't think she even can believe how much she loves the ring...and I'm a very perfectionist type of kinda guy that was looking for the "perfect" vintage-y setting, etc., and I was so happy with the offerings at Gem Dynasty.

Simply the best experience we have had the ENTIRE time during wedding planning chaos. The place and and people are exceptional.



First off, the jewelry district is very overwhelming, but we braved it because of the great reviews on online of Gem Dynasty. They were all true.

We found a perfect variety of wedding band styles for both myself and my fiance. The Frank seemed just as excited as we were and gave us time and space to make our decision. It was such an enjoyable experience and he gave us a great price for our bands (many of my friends are also getting married and paid 2-3x as much for a similar band!!!).

They were knowledgeable, accommodating and very easy to work with. I just picked up our rings today after having them sized and a bit of custom work done and they look amazing.
