works like a drive through. you park your car and head over to the window and ask for the tire size you would like. the cars are lined up in order to get their new tires installed. The line is always very long but they have most tires in stock and have different brands in stock. I was there for about an hour just to get new tires but the price was the best. no need to shop around next time will go straight to them.

I called to get a quote for tires and provided all the information necessary to get the most accurate quote. When I got to the Fairmount the following day, they gave me a totally different price. A higher price, of course! The lady that helped me was arrogant and was not willing to give me a price close to the quote I originally received over the phone. She did not even allow me to speak to the manager when I requested it.

This place saved me hundreds (literally) of dollars for my tires. It gets crowded though, so if you don't want to wait in line, go early- like 730 am early! As with any tire place, I advise to call ahead and make sure they've got what you need before heading over there.
After years of people telling me how great this place was, I decided to head down to Fairmount to get new tires for my 2002 Nissan Maxima SE. After comparing prices from several locations, Fairmount had the best prices by far. The staff was courteous and even cleaned off some hard-to-remove gunk that the old tires left on my rims (for a small tip, of course). One of my buddies has an uncle who owns a tire shop and he told me that his uncle buys many of his tires at Fairmount and resells them at a higher price. Much like a previous reviewer, I also met a couple of people who came from way out of town to get their tires here. I will never purchase tires anywhere else!
The only negative? The long-lines you will encounter if you attempt to have your car serviced during the weekend. I went on a Wednesday and it still took a considerable amount of time to get my tires replaced. I've seen the weekend line and can honestly say that you may as well bring a sleeping bag if you intend to wait it out.
Avoid the weekends and it'll be nothing but smiles.
I get huge discounts at this company. My entire family gets new tires from the company and recently, I found out my coworker travels from Irvine to get his tires from there too. The techs there are very fast. The line may get long sometimes, but it is worth the wait. which is only about 30 minutes. I highly reccomend this place and come with your cash or be ready to show proper ID. Huge Huge savings for me, my family, and coworker. Rich is the Manager there and he is wonderful and very couteous to me everytime I go there I ask for him. Thanks!!!

Fairmount Tire is an amazing place...they have the best prices in town (lowest around!) and the service is outstanding. Also, the product availability and selection is tremendous. Word on the street...wholesale prices to the public! I recommend Fairmount Tire to all!
