They are the friendliest people i have met. They love dogs and love their job. Johnny and Tyler have helped me out of situations when i thought i had no other choice. They watch my dog when i am away, walk my dog every day, and have actually become friends through the process. They are wonderful! And anyone would be lucky to have their pet taken care of by them.

My dog loves coming here for some weekly playtime. We had tried a different day care, but he would shake and act a little scared when we pulled into the parking lot. Not at Barkingham - he literally pulls me in the door because he can't wait to get inside!
The grooming is also great!

My little schnoodle and I are in love with Barkingham Palace! We've tried other day cares where there were also big dogs that she would hear in the other room and feel intimidated by. Since there are only small dogs at BH, my pup gets to be in the huge room instead of the tiny room. Also everyone who works there is kind and gentle, and the dogs are all sweet. My dog has always had a good experience with grooming, she trusts everyone there. They are extremely conscientious about fleas, coughing, and any unusual behavior from your dog (for the sake of your dog and the others there). I believe they really care about my dog and all the dogs they take care of. Much different than one place we visited that seemed to be a flea palace!

I've never written a review on here but this is the ONLY place in Los Angeles where I would leave my precious dog at. And these are the ONLY people in the entire city that I trust my dog with.
My dog is a smaller Shih Tzu who can be very shy. Both Tee and Tania are so sweet and gentle with her. The whole entire staff lets her be comfortable in doing what she wants to do whether it's resting on a couch or initiating play with other dogs. But they never force her and they make sure she is safe at all times. They have even given us some fun videos of her actually playing and interacting with other dogs. It made us so happy to see her enjyoing herself and socializing!
Even if my girlfriend and I move out of the city, we will still take make the trek before and after work to take her here. This is a 2nd home to her and we feel truly blessed in knowing such genuine, good people who care about animals.
As for the groomer, she'd been groomed here before and they've done a wonderful job. We plan on taking our dog and my mom's dog here for a haircut in the next few weeks!
If you love your dog and want to give them a treat at least once a week, you have got to give this place a try!!

BARKINGHAM PALACE - BEST IN CLASS!!
I rescued Moose (a Terrier mix) a little over a year ago. She was my first dog & I wanted to make sure that she was well socialized and safe. I found Barkingham Palace online and fell in love with the name, and rapidly fell in love with everything that is Barkingham Palace.
Whenever I say, let's go see""T"", she twirls around in circles and can't wait to get out the door. I have to say I am a teensy bit jealous about that, but it's a joy to know that when I decide to go Mooseless and run errands, she is in safe hands.

There are not enough stars here for me to properly rate these guys. In the six month since we've known them, Tee And Tania, and the rest of the Barkingham crew, have become family. They are the most dedicated, caring and generous people you would ever want to meet.
My boyfriend and I adopted both our dogs, Hammer and LaLa from their pet rescue, Diamond in the Ruff. (Which they also run with the utmost integrity and knowledge.) I not only trust them to take care of both our puppies, I look forward to bringing them in for what I know will be a happy, healthy, fun-filled experience for them.
It's honestly an honor to have these people in my life. They love my dogs. They treat them as their own. I could sit there all day and watch my pups play in the play room (complete with comfy couches and blankies for the dogs). It's an immaculately clean and safe environment filled with love and joy.
Besides being fantastic people they are also brilliant in all areas of dog owning. They have given us great advice on everything from crate training to dealing with allergies. (I was a little allergic to LaLa and Tee offered to shave her a bit to stop the shedding. Worked like an absolute charm.) Just another example of how they go above and beyond your average dog daycare.
When I drop my dogs off at Barkingham Palace for the day, I don't look at them spending the day at a business. They are going to their second home.
And that makes them the best. I'd rate them a million stars if I could.

I have been taking my dog,Finnigan, to Barkingham Palace for about 9 months. We live within walking distance and he takes me there now.
Tee and Emily are wonderful with dogs and Finnigan has learned to be trusting of them and has extended his trust to other humans.
They watch the dogs at ALL times and so scuffles are stopped quickly and without fuss. Their approach is prompt but subtle so that the dogs just begin naturally to become friends.
Finnigan is always tuckered out and happy when i pick him up in 2 hours or, sometimes, longer. i usually let him go everyday because it is his way of socializing in a friendly environment and without the restraint of the leash as when he meets dogs on walks.
Barkingham Palace is better than a dog park because the dogs are pretty much the same size and have been carefully screen to sift out aggressive, anti social behavior. What a treasure to have found!!!!

Last week my boyfriend and I were in a jam and had to find someone to watch Karma (our puppy) with only one day’s notices… I remember seeing Barkingham Palace on Citysearch a few months back and decided to call about there doggie daycare as well as grooming. From the very start they were wonderful, the receptionist helped by getting all of the shot records from our vet as well directed me to fill out all of the paperwork so when I came in it would be a very easy experience. Once I arrived; the owner talk with me about what type of hair cut I would like Karma to have as well as what her day would be like… Karma loved the two ladies right away. She stayed at Barkingham Palace all day; I picked her up around 5:00pm her hair cut was so cute, I raved about it to everyone as well as Karma slept for several hours once we got home as she was tired from playing with the other dogs all day. ANOTHER BIG PLUS!!!:-) I would highly recommend Barkingham Palace for grooming and doggie day care to anyone
I am probably the most difficult person to please when it comes to my little angel. The moment we walked in Barkingham palace I knew I was in the right place. My pooch, who has separation anxiety, just ran in as if she was in her own personal palace.
I also tried their grooming couple of days ago. The groomer did a wonderful job and my baby looks great. Thank you very much Barkingham Palace.
On a SaturdayI was walking by on Beverly Blvd close to the intersection of Crescent Heights. I liked the place and stopped for a little explorative tour . Positive vibes!!! I came back few days later "" et voila` "" the surprise . I was really pleased with the attention and service my little pooch received . Thank you a lot .

I've been in here a couple of times I am really impressed with the level of service I received. The owners know all of the dogs names and seem to treat them as if they were their own dogs. I really liked the fact that they only allow small dogs into the daycare facility, that way you don't have the big over sized dogs bullying the smaller ones. I did notice that they will groom larger dogs but I was told that these dogs are never put into the actual daycare. Overall this place seemed like a trustworthy place where I could bring my dog without having to worry about her all day.
