We have a Sub Zero Refrigerator/Freezer and the ice maker died and the line to the ice maker leaked into freezer insulation which froze. This caused condensation on side wall which leaked on hardwood floor. What a mess. We tried to call Sub Zero and they said they could have somebody out to our house in a few weeks. Totally unacceptable! So we called up Los Angeles Appliance Repair. We have used them several times in the past and always been happy with the results. They sent out a tech 2 days later and he said that the hose going to the icemaker was loose and the water was running into the freezer insulation. He had to defrost the entire unit. Move the unit out to clean up the water and dry the wood, fix the water hose and clean everything up. It was a pretty big job, and I was surprised when he was finished at how reasonable the bill was. Los Angeles Appliance Repair is a really great repair company. Their technicians are honest and friendly, and they never over charge you or try to talk you into repairs you do not need.
I have 3 kids and our Washer and Dryer are going 24/7. We do more laundry than the Laundry-Mat. So when our Maytag Dryer quit working the other day. I called Maytag immediately. After being on hold with them for almost an hour they informed me that they could have a repairman out to our place in about a week and a half. I told them that were unacceptable, and they said that was the best that they could do. My brother told ne to call Los Angles Appliance Repair. He told me that he had used them several times tin the past and he said that they were a great company. I called them up and told them it was an emergency. They said they could have somebody over to the house by tomorrow. I could not believe it. True to their word they had Tony out at our house the next day around 4 pm. He took a look at the dryer, and told me it was a fuse that blew out in the back, and he had the fuse with him that we needed. I was stunned. He swapped out the fuse and the dryer hummed to life. What a lifesaver. We would have been buried under a mountain of laundry in no time if it wasn’t for Tony and the good people at Los Angeles Appliance Repair. They are defiantly our new Service Company from now on.
The other day I had just started in to a mountain of laundry that I have needed to do for 2 weeks, when my Whirlpool Dryer quit producing heat. It would still run, but no heat. Arrrrgh! So I found Los Angeles Appliance Repair on my phone, and set up an appointment. I was impressed at how easy their website was to navigate using my smartphone. I scheduled an appointment for two days out. The technician Jerry showed up on time and he took a look at the dryer. He discovered that the thermostat was burned out, and he just happened to have one with him. Oh happy Day! He swapped out the fuse, and I was doing laundry again before he left the building. The service was prompt and professional. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable, and the final bill was very reasonable. I will definitely be adding this company to my contacts for the future.
We have a Sub Zero Wine Cooler we have had for quite a few years now, and we have always been happy with it. The other day I went down into the basement rec-room where we keep our wine stored, and I noticed that our Sub Zero Wine Cooler was making a humming noise that I never noticed before. It was not loud, but any constant appliance noise is annoying. The unit seemed to be working fine, but I knew if the noise was bothering me; it would definitely bother my wife. So I went online and looked up the number for Los Angeles Appliance Repair, we have used them several times in the past, and we have always been pleased with the results. I had them schedule the appointment for Saturday when I knew we would both be home. I was really impressed that they could get me a Saturday appointment. The technician Steve showed up a few minutes early. I was impressed he was very clean and friendly. He put booties on over his boots before entering our house, which I like. We have very expensive wood floors, and we try hard to take care of them. I showed him the unit, and after giving it a complete once over he let me know that the fan probably needed replaced. He said that he could probably clean it and oil it and get rid of the sound maybe, but it would likely come back. I opted for replacing the fan outright. We have had the unit for several years with a problem, so I chalked this up to regular maintenance. He gave me a very fair estimate, and I gave him the go ahead to purchase the parts. He said he could be back on Monday anytime and he could replace the fan. I had him come by Monday in the evening. He had the fan replaced in under an hour, and the final bill matched his estimate, which is always nice. This company is great; all of the employees are very professional. It never takes long to get an appointment, and they do not charge you an arm and a leg, like most LA repairman. I recommend this company to all of my friends.
We love have an outdoor dishwasher it sounds funny, but we cook out poolside a lot all year round living in Los Angeles. Having a dishwasher right there poolside by the grill is ideal. So a few years ago we purchased an Asko Outdoor Dishwasher. I read about them online, how they are designed to work outdoors even in Harsh Climates. We have been pretty happy with it thus far. We were drawn to Asko because of their high quality appliances, environmentally friendly Dishwashers and their stylish Swedish design. Over the summer we were suing it to clean up after a little poolside soiree that we threw, when the dishwasher threw up an F4 error code. Which is typically supposed to indicate that the dishwasher is having a problem with the water supply? My neighbor told me to call Los Angeles Appliance Repair and set up an appointment. We have had a couple of negative experiences with repairmen recently, and I have been looking for a new appliance repair company. So my wife called them up and made an appointment for the same week. I was surprised right there. Usually in Los Angeles it takes a month to get a repairman to come out to your house just to give an estimate, and reschedule an appointment at a later date. The technician arrived early and after examining the unit he said we did not have a problem with the water supply, but rather that the dashboard on our unit was faulty. He gave me his estimate and said he could return in 3 days with the parts to fix our Asko Outdoor Dishwasher. I was a little skeptical that he could get the parts and be back in three days, it sounded too good to be true. The estimate he gave me seemed very reasonable so I gave him the go ahead to do the repairs. True to his word three days later he showed up with the necessary parts and fixed the unit right up. We were cooking out on the grill and doing dishes out side that very night. I am very happy with the service we received from Los Angeles Appliance Repair and I would recommend them to all of my friends and family.
I really enjoy cooking. My wife and I have been cooking together for years and we own a couple of properties. We recently purchased a property in Los Angeles, a nice place up in the hills outside of town, with a beautiful view. When we purchased the place the kitchen came with a Wolf M series built in oven and a nice Sub Zero built in refrigerator, both appliances were in really good condition, and Wolf ovens are excellent, so we decide to keep them and have them refurbished. My new neighbor recommended that we call Los Angeles Appliance Repair to get an estimate on refurbishing the Wolf Oven and the Sub Zero refrigerator that came with the house. He said that he uses them all the time. I gave them a call and set up an appointment to have a technician come out and inspect the appliances and give us an estimate on refurbishing the two appliances. The technician arrived at the appropriate time, and he seemed a nice enough guy. I showed him the two appliances we wanted fixed up. He looked them over and gave me a list of items he recommended cleaning and replacing. He recommended we replace the seal on the refrigerator and have the compressor cleaned. The wolf oven was almost perfect he just recommended cleaning it and replacing the interior bulb which was burned out. He gave us his estimate, and I was pleasantly surprised how affordable it was. I gave him the green light and he got to work right away. He worked on the unit for about an hour and a half, and then he scheduled a day to come back the next week with the seal for the refrigerator and a couple of other little parts he needed to finish up.
He returned on the day we set up on time and finished the job. He did a great job on both units he cleaned them up like new. They were pristine. The whole experience was really positive, and when he handed me the bill at the end of it. It seemed very reasonable for all the work that was done. I would use this company again and recommend it to friends.
