I had the most positive experience. I would recommend Dr's Alpan's practice to all of my friends. Dr Alpan and his staff are really encouraging, supportive and knowledgeable. Once you enter the office you feel the warm atmosphere, all of his staff are great.
I have been in the treatment with Dr. Alpan for 3 years. When the time comes I will send 2 of my kids there.
Dr. Alpan is a leading expert in Invisalign. My dentist recommended him and after one year, my teeth have changed tremendously. At my last dental visit, my dentist was so impressed with Dr. Alpan's work that he called his entire staff into my exam room to look at the progress that had been made to my smile and my bite. What makes Dr. Alpan stand out, and the reason I chose him as opposed to a couple of other recommendations given to me by my dentist, is his bedside manner and apparent passion for his work. The staff at Aesthetic Orthodontics is incomparable. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and to accommodate you in every way possible. My experience has been extremely positive, and after talking to several other patients who feel the same way, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

My experience with Aesthetic Orthodontics has been one of the most positive experiences I've ever had with any other doctor or practice. My dentist recommended three orthodontists to me, and from the moment I spoke with the staff on the phone, I had a feeling that I was going to choose Aesthetic Orthodontics.
Going to an orthodontist was not something for which I had been mentally prepared. I had already had orthodontic treatment for several of my teenage years, and after having had issues with a dental appliance my previous dentist had given me, my bite had opened, which could only be corrected with orthodontic treatment. So, at 27 years old, I ended up back in the same dreaded situation as I had fifteen years prior, needing to get braces.
Upon entering the office, I was warmly greeted and taken to the consultation room. Dr. Alpan did a really thorough examination of my mouth and jaw, which pleasantly surprised me as the other doctors I had seen asked a few questions and took a cursory glance. He spent a lot of time asking me questions, explaining my options, and coming up with a plan to move forward, so much so that I remember thinking that he surely must have had other patients that he needed to see. (In light of that previous comment, I must point out that I have only on one occasion in the last 18 months had to wait more than ten minutes to see the doctor.)
I ended up choosing the Invisalign treatment, which hands down, wins over any other orthodontic treatment in my book. There were flexible payment plans available with the ability to finance if needed. The prices of the different treatment options were very competitively priced, and honestly, for the kind of service that you get at Aesthetic Orthodontics, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal.
The staff greets me by name now, and it feels good to know their names as well. I have never felt like I was just a number or another paycheck at that office. I talk mostly with Claudia and Christina, and both of them are always smiling, and always willing to work with my schedule. They make it very easy to be a patient.
Dr. Alpan is incredibly knowledgeable, always positive, and is constantly keeping himself apprised of new technologies and new treatment options. If you'd like more information on his background, it's posted on the Aesthetic Orthodontics website. He takes his time with his patients and is legitimately concerned about creating the best smile and achieving effective results. He's young enough that I feel like I can relate well to him and he can relate to younger kids, and he's old enough to have had ten years of experience under his belt.
I must say that another great thing about this practice is that the staff is pretty flexible on which office you go to. I'm sure they may prefer that you stick with one office (though it's never been mentioned to me), but I travel a lot for work, and there are times when I'm only available on a day of the week that they are working in the office that I don't usually go to. In these cases, they have always accommodated me, transported my aligners to the office at which I had my appointment, and gave me the same friendly service as they always have.
I honestly have no complaints, and the results that have been achieved in the last 18 months have exceeded my expectations. Your orthodontic treatment should be a positive all-around experience from your first visit to your last, from each time you walk in the door to each time you walk out, and Dr. Alpan and his staff couldn't do a better job of meeting that challenge.
I got my braces on at the end of June last year (07). I have the Damon 3 System type braces. These braces are supposed to be self-ligating braces that create less friction and less pain. They're also supposed to be on less time than ordinary, traditional braces. At the beginning of my treatment I only went in every 2 months or so which was very convenient. So far, the treatment has been a breeze. Now, I've been in every 4-6 weeks, depending.
Appointments are easy to change, and the wait time in the waiting area is never longer than 5 minutes. On average I'd say my appointments have been about 30 minutes each. I can always be in and out within an hour tops. They have a assembly line type of treatment area where all the dental chairs are lined up. They have 8-10 workstations. The have a computer at each workstation where the ortho assistants are able to pull up your chart and entire history. Including your x-rays. They update the chart as you sit there and at the end of the visit, once you get back to the reception area to make your next appointment, the receptionist already knows when you should be back for your next visit. I've been accommodated for every emergency visit- all I've had to do was call and they fit me right in. Their computer system makes things very easy. I have a login on their website where I'm able to check my appointment history and my account balance.
Although the process has been easy, very quick and easy to get in and out, I do find a lack of personal attention to the patients. Each time I've seen a different ortho assistant. The actual Orthodontist only comes by and checks to make sure the work has been done properly or to make small corrections and adjustments. I was given a treatment time estimate of 18-24 months. But I'm hoping the braces will be off in something more like 12-16.
