Good reliable lunch option - They DELIVER

Finding AFFORDABLE lunch options smack dab in the middle of Sunset Blvd can be difficult...even more difficult to find affordable DELIVERY. This place, 88 Chinese & Sushi near Canters on Fairfax is my new saving grace. First...Delivery is FREE. Their menu has a good selection and even has low carb options which can be difficult with Chinese food.

I really haven't tried any sushi yet, and I'm a pretty big sushi snob. Not sure I will. I totally recommend 88 if you live or work in the area. They deliver quickly and the food is always hot.

Their lunch options are amazingly affordable and come with an appetizer (eggroll), salad, and dessert (the expected fortune cookie).

GIVE 'EM A CALL! (I usually use eat24hours . com to place my order online.)

After receiving a delivery menu at my doorstep, I remembered 88 in the title. While craving Chinese food and driving on Fairfax, I remembered it was located across from Canters. So, my hubbie and I decided to try it out and we were GLAD we did. Amazing food and great service. We can opt for delivery next time and I am sure there will be plenty of next times!

Good value sitdown Chinese in Fairfax area.

This is one of those rare, inexpensive, sitdown Chinese joints that serves food a few notches above the ordinary. Great for lunch with specials starting at $6.99 including soup, salad, egg roll, rice, entree, and fortune cookie (dipped in frosting). Portions are huge. Dishes are prepared much lighter than the typical greasy takeout joint. General Tso's chicken is especially good, as is the salt-and-pepper calamari, and Teriyaki chicken. Too bad they took away the free hot tea.
