AVOID THIS HORRIBLE, MISOGYNISTIC PLACE! For three years, this was one of my go-to shipping places in the neighborhood, but I just had the most atrocious, misogynistic customer service. Judas was patently unkind, unprofessional, and misogynistic. Went to ship a small care package, then needed to make copies of documents. When one guy walked me over to the copier and stood over it/me, I started feeling a bit anxious (it's a tight spot). I joked that "I knew how to use a copier," and he got offended -- I literally just needed a little space to do my own thing. But Judas jumped in, implying I'd been disrespectful and that they didn't need that in their shop. He kept talking and talking at me--quickly verbally attacking me and escalating things and quickly invited us to leave. I've been a longtime customer and whatever this miscommunication was, it could and should have been handled so differently. I hope the owners understand that male employees verbally berating female customers (or any customers) is never okay. So sad that the customer service here has gotten so bad.
Always very helpful here in getting shipping out, getting boxes or shipping supplies. Glad to have them in my neighborhood.
Do your shipping here. The staff will quote and compare rates. Their post office rates are a couple dollars more than the Post Office, but it's worth it. Box Brothers will have you in and out in 5 minutes.
Easy in, easy out. There's almost always a parking space behind the building. The fellas working there are nice and efficient.
When I'm in Hollywood, this is my place to pick up a box, ship and leave pre-paid packages. Not as friendly as Atwater location but overall good.
I visited this shop to ship a couple of my boxes to Korea. The owner is Korean and we had a conversation. I never doubt about anything at that time. I paid more for shipping because I trust FedEx which Box&Ship serves. I got my boxes when I came back to Korea and realized that too many things are stolen from my boxes. Half of my cloths, my Chanel bracelet, and many kinds of my kids' stuff were gone. I checked out the x-ray of US airport and Korean one by the help of FedEx but the items were not in the boxes from the first time when FedEx received my packages. Where is it gone? I tried to ask the Korean owner by phone but he avoids talking with me. He told me "please do not call" and hung up even before I've said something. It is also before FedEx does some action or word to Box&ship. This means the owner has not heard about anything from us. Isn't it weird? I asked for the investigation to FedEx. This is a real story. I never write a review but I think I have to this time. Hope this won't happen again to anyone. Never go to this shop.
They took over 5 months to install my hood and used jokers and people that did not know what they were going. George only cares about your money and will not answer his calls once he knows you are upset about something. They even installed the WRONG exhaust fan on the ceiling and they took 2 weeks to fix. Then they never flashed the wood on the ceiling. George doesnt know what the hell is going on under him. He just dresses up in a button down shirt and PRETENDS to be a serious business man. The oven he sold me was missing a rack. And the deep fryer he sold me, the pilot light goes out in the middle of a lunch rush. This guys SEVERE incompetence cost me THREE and A HALF MONTHS of RENT. Seriously I am furious at these guys.
