There is a "Fat" difference between going through the drive-thru at this Fatburger and actually going inside. The drive-thru wait can be tedious, but that's no fault of Fatburger; they cook your order fresh, so nothing has that icky, dried- out taste of fast food that's been sitting under heating lamps before they give it to you. However,I recommend taking the time to go inside and order. There's a whole different vibe inside, and whatever it is, it brings out the ravenous teenager in most everyone, young or old. The wonderful scent of sizzling burgers and good fries, the free juke box music playing Motown or other great oldies, and the happy people enjoying the food (and trust me, these are mostly people who LOVE to eat, not obsessive calorie-counters who feel guilty gettin' their grease on once in awhile !), and it all adds up to what going to a burger stand should be: FUN! Don't forget to try their fresh-squeezed lemonade( my fave) or creamy shakes; for those who avoid burgers, they have a delicious turkeyburger as well; and one last tip: they have really good onion rings too, not those dreadful ol' frozen things that are all breading and no onion. So why fight it? Get yer Fat on!! (:
Despite the tantalizing ads, the main event here, the chicken itself, doesn't quite translate to a satisfying meal. Perhaps it's the way they cut the pieces up, but the product one ultimately gets is often more bones than meat, and frequently dry as leather despite the marinade they boast of. I have had wings here that are basically skimpy burnt offerings with no chicken to speak of. (Pollo Loco needs to re-define "piece" of chicken!) Some of their other items are actually better than the chicken: the tostada and burritos, while not the best, are at least more filling than the 2 piece combo meals. The side orders are blah, except for the tasty black beans and tortilla soup. (Their version of chicken tamales is just god-awful.) This chain is selling the "healthier" angle of flame-cooked chicken, which is indeed a step up from the endless grease vat of places like KFC, but you still need to deliver the goods. I would rather bake chicken at home than bother with this leathery version of chicken. Another mild suggestion: enough of the annoying Pollo Loco ad substituting the words "El Pollo Loco" for the lovely song, "Guantanamera." Try something new.
I just want to say that I had a Great Experience at the Subway restaurant located at: 289 South Atlantic Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90022.I went into their location back on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 and was greeted by Teresa De La O who went out of her way to take care of me as her customer.I personally want to thank her for ALL of her efforts in listening to me and satisfying my needs.I more than Highly Recommend her to anyone seeking out a Fantastic Sandwich Maker and Subway Customer Service Representative.I hope to come back to your store location very soon!Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreLoyal Subway Fan And Customer/HPS
Service is good, and fast. Food is juicy and portions are fine "only if you order to eat at the restaurant". I can not say the same with "take out" orders. Two times I ordered to go a whole chicken (8 pieces) I asked to be well done but juicy. When I get home and open the tray I found out the "one halve" of a chicken breast was cut in two pieces, very small, and the chicken meat was not juicy.. instead was kind of hard to bite on, no tasty to eat out of all. My recommendation is to check your order before your leave the restaurant, we are not asking anything for free, we are paying for what they advertise!
Staff are always super nice, friendly, professional, and QUICK! If you're running some errands at Bed Bath and Beyond, Staples, Quality Shoe Repair, or something else in the area, this is a great place to pop in for a healthy rice and veggie bowl with quality meat. For $8.45, you can get a mixed bowl of chicken and beef, with brown rice and plenty of veggies. Pretty darn good, and whole thing was ready in under 2 minutes!!!!
This In-n-out gets a mediocre review for it's space and service. There is barely room to sit inside and very crowded. Outside the drive through is always backed up. Location is a strip mall, so lots of traffic for next door businesses distract drive through flow. If you are in this area, I recommend either the one a little south on Sepulveda and Manchester or the one west near Marina Del Rey on Washington and Lincoln.
Been to drive-thru a few times. It has 2 ordering lanes that feed into one. This helps with all the congestion in the area. It can be a struggle to get in & out of there being that it is Hollywood. It's usually good service, but today when I went thru, I felt completely rushed & service wasn't quite as good as usual. Food is always yummy tho!
This McDonalds is located on the busy intersection of Fletcher and San Fernando. The location itself is not the best - very industrial. I recommend using their drive thru which I think is one of the best I've seen for a McDs. Two lanes make for quick pick up and most importantly they are accurate with your order.
Love taco bell, all the cashiers have very good manners but the cashier named David is excellent, very polite. I made a mistake when ordering and patiently he helpped me to get exactly what I did wanted. Kudos for him. Clean place and good service at least on weekends that is when I go to eat my crunchwraps!
I know kale is a cliche these days, but seriously, the kale caesar salad at this place is like crack. The amount of garlic could keep Dracula at bay, but nevertheless, I order it at least once a week, paired with their watermelon agua fresca. The carne asada bowl is really good (and filling) too.
