Dear Parents: It is our pleasure and admiration to provide this recommendation letter to Tinker Tots Preschool and staff members during the years of attendance of our 3 1/2 year old son between October 2006 - July 2008. Being their pupil since he turned 2 years old, he has not only grown to be taller and broken out of his shell of shyness; but has also grown socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. He has learned to play creatively, to color, write, cut paper, colors, shapes, sizes, body parts, alphabet, singing, reading aloud, manners, crafts, art, potty trained, cleanliness, paying attention, following instructions, and most of all how to communicate his feelings with others. Their open door policy has made us as parents feel safe and content with dropping off our child at the school for the day. The open communication between the Teachers and the Parents is definitely present. Since day one we have seen how our son has advanced socially and getting ready for kindergarten. His development physically, mentally, and socially, has proven his growth and has broken his shy-shell. Although our son has made a lot of friends and has grown fond of his Teachers and Directors; we are looking forward to our new family adventure with our move to a different city. Two proud parents, Cynthia & Angel

My daughter was 3 years old when she started this preschool. She was at another preschool prior to that. I had to transfer her to another school because I was a elementary teacher who had to relocate to another school myself and Harvard was the closest one to my own school. However, I am very glad that I chose this school because the teachers are truly nurturing and patient with the students . Also, every Friday, teachers send home work activities that your child learned for that week, including holiday projects. In the previous preschool, the teachers never once sent home any activities. In addition, the school holds musical/dance performances by the students. It's always exciting to see how cute the kids are when they are singing. Lastly, Harvard preschool is very affordable. I pay $485 a month for the tuition And you might think at first that the quality of the school is not as excellent as a high-paying school that may charge up to $900 but let me assure you, you will be glad you chose Harvard preschool. Most of the teachers there have been teaching for as long as 30 years with excellent work attendance so that's another plus. The service hours starts from 7 am to 5:30 pm.
When we first thought of enrolling our 2 year old daughter in a Pre-School environment, our minds and nerves were racing. How could we possibly leave our precious little daughter in a large,. unknown school where she didn't know anyone. Just one visit to Harvard help ease our fears. The staff were warm and welcoming, and all the children immediately greeted our little one and invited her to play with them. All of the children seemed very happy and comfortable. We knew that this would be the place for our Marissa. One year later and we are so happy that we found Harvard. Marissa has learned so much, and she looks forward to going every day. We have some friends who pay more for their children's pre-schools, but Harvard is the greatest!
The Franciscan Sisters truly love the children. My husband and I had never left our son anywhere but with my mom during the first 3 years of his life. When we took him in for a tour of the school, we knew this was it! The Sisters are so loving and it shows that they have their heart into it. Our son has been there for only 2 months and he comes home singing "God Bless America" among other songs. We all know that the first 5 years are so important in a child's development. I would strongly encourage any parent looking for a preschool to take a tour of the school.
San Antonio De Padua Academy Preschool in Los Angeles California is a great preschool. My son is finishing his second year in preschool. I believe the building is only 4 years old, I would recommend this preschool to anyone. The sisters that run the school show through their actions and words how much they care about the children. Compare this school to all other preschools in the area and you will see the difference. The kids learn to sing many religious songs and kids songs.
My daughter entered Harvard at the age of 2 years old. The staff treats her like family. They are all warm, loving, and willing to tell me every bit of my daughter's day. She has learned so much by being at this school. We always get compliments regarding how well she listens and how much she knows. My daughter also participates in Harvard's Dance and Gymnastics programs. I would truly recommend this school and look forward to our youngest daughter attending as well.
This is a great school!! My daughter went there and now my 2 sons attend. Due to Harvard's experience and attention on the academic requirements for LAUSD, my daughter was way ahead of the curve entering 1st grade. They also have a top-notch arts program that includes music, dance and gymnastics as well as arts and crafts. They also have fun stuff for the kids in the summer! Very affordable as well.
Our daughter graduated last June after 13 years at Berkeley Hall. She had a wonderful experience and was very well prepared for high school. The 66-acre campus is gorgeous. The faculty and staff are very nurturing of each student. The academic program is strong but not stressful to the kids. It's still one of the best kept secrets in L.A.!
My child is 3yrs old. She has improved her verbal skills and knowledge awareness. The teachers provide structured instructional time. They also have playtime in the school's playground. The school provides a very diverse environment where the children greet each other with hugs. My wife and I highly recomemend Harvard Preshool.
Excellent school, teachers are great, curriculum strives for excellence in all fields, must work extra heard to achieve great results, my daughter started kinder last year in 09-10 and she is reading 2nd grade level. School is preparing children for college. I have no doubt most of the kids attending KIPP will go to collge.
