It is obviously not every gay man's cup of tea, but the place does deliver the goods. Some complain it's too "dirty" and "tacky;"(a reasonably clean former warehouse, it aims for a masculine aurra;prettification is not in keeping with the image.) To my mind, the place gets it basically right: it's just dark enough and funky enough to allow for one to indulge in some fantasies, a sort of amusement park of the male senses. If you have ever tried an Internet hook-up, and found the person showing up at your door is not remotely like the one you thought you invited over, this place provides a less problematic (and safer) option. And yes, "safe" behavior is very actively encouraged and supported throughout from the time you sign in. Refreshingly, Slammer is not the least bit ageist (nor any other "ist" that I have observed) Both young and older co-mingle minus the tired cattiness of some gay bars. One piece of advice: male assertiveness is attractive in such a place; leave your inner "shy violet" at home and join in, (safely of course,) As places for play go, it's what you make it, and a hell of a sandbox for the adventurous.
My daughter has been in the care of Pedy's Playhouse since January 2013. It was hard to go back to work, and even harder to find the best care for our daughter. Miss Pedy is a LICENSED, QUALIFIED CAREGIVER AND COLLEGE DEGREED CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST, AS WELL AS A NURSE! I know God led me to her in-home daycare! Early on, my daughter needed breathing treatments and had to go to the doctor for appts. Miss Pedy never hesitated and properly & professionally attended to our daughter's special medical needs! We never needlessly missed work because she took our daughter to her appts., if we couldn't get off work! My daughter leans into Miss Pedy in the morning when I drop her off
I have been taking my 4 year old son to Kidtopia for about a year now and my son and I absolutely love it. The fact that sometimes my son doesn't even want to go home because he is having so much fun and enjoys this day care so much proves to me that I definitely made the right choice. The staff is extremely caring, kind and loving to my son and at the end of the day, that is all that matters to me. I would highly recommend this facility! I love knowing my son is safe and happy!

Zero Plus Five treats all parents and children like family. My son has been there over a year and not only is he loved, he also learns. I have no doubt that he will be more than prepared for ready for school in three years. This place is my son's second home and it's a relief to know that I can go to work and know that the staff will care for him like he is their own!

My daughter loves going to Kid Spot while I work out! She actually didn't want to leave once my class was over. Lana is wonderful with the kids, and they spend the time dancing, singing, and having a blast. I definitely recommend Kid Spot for the little ones while you get your workout on.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this preschool. The facilities are wonderful, the teachers are caring, the community is kind. If you send your children to Camelot you can be confident that they are in good hands and will be having the time of their lives.
What a great place for birthday gifts! They had just what we were looking for for my niece's birthday. And their staff was so nice and helpful. SO rare these days. I'm recommending to my friends with little ones in their lives.
Sometimes you just have to go to Toys R Us. This one shares a parking lot with Costco (ugh) and is always a bit of a mess inside. And it's impossible to find anyone to help you and then you wait a while to check out.
