Born in Catholic family however i attended public school.2nd semester moved to Hauser St.and enrolled in Holy Spirit School. Prepared for my 1st Holy Communion. It was a mental grind with plenty of study and I made it, my 1st Holy Communion. The sisters, priests and brothers were beautiful people. I will never forget Holy Spirit, a miracle from the hand of God. We moved back to Detroit. I would preferred to have finished out my 8th grade at HS and gone on to St. John Vianney for high-school. They say things happen for a reason and I would not question the workings of God, but Holy Spirit was such a good fit for me,. I loved the place, really. The only student I remember by name was LARRY JET. I still have my 7th grade class picture.

Students are happy and the atmosphere is conducive to a wonderful learning environment.
Our daughter graduated last June after 13 years at Berkeley Hall. She had a wonderful experience and was very well prepared for high school. The 66-acre campus is gorgeous. The faculty and staff are very nurturing of each student. The academic program is strong but not stressful to the kids. It's still one of the best kept secrets in L.A.!
Excellent school, teachers are great, curriculum strives for excellence in all fields, must work extra heard to achieve great results, my daughter started kinder last year in 09-10 and she is reading 2nd grade level. School is preparing children for college. I have no doubt most of the kids attending KIPP will go to collge.
This school is at the heart of who we all want for our children. Firm in ethics and dedicated to nurturing the faith of our children. The students that graduate from this school have succeeded in Catholic and Private High Schools and attend major universities nation wide. They call it the Eagle's Nest. So appropriate!
Teachers here are always involved with the community and really do help these kids prepare for the future Keep up the good work!

I have worked at Marshall off and on for many years. It's a positive environment with supportive teachers.
too much homework isn't so good, so teachers should start giving less homework to the students
