The staff Alberto and lusia, since moving into the area have always been so accommodating and helpful. I tend to hate appts. And schedules. They were so good to me during a recent surgery, and took me without any hassle even at closing. I mentioned this because I stopped by ran to get a shave on Sunday. It was a few minutes before 400pm. They were fairly busy, so I told Albert I needed to go to cvs and as always he said no problem. I just wanted to thank them. There were a few appointments and walk-in s but it took no more than 10 to 15 tops to take care of me. I thought it was important to mention this because I have never been treated in anyway except with outstanding customer service. Also this person came in and was a walk-in no appt. Was asked to come back 15 minutes and came back walked in got upset left, even though they were taking him after closing. For Christ sake it's Sunday and takes longer to walk or drive around the block, than to wait a few more minutes. So don't let one negative review affect you these guys and girls are great.
Nicole at Henri Salon rocks! She is an exceptional (and fun) hair stylist. Her own hair looks good too.I'm a 29 year old guy in LA and about a year ago I was looking to find a regular hair stylist who makes it easy and enjoyable for me to keep well groomed and looking my best.I stopped by Henri Salon, liked the light/nice space, got a haircut from Nicole, and have been going back ever since. Nicole is professional, has a great personality, and loves what she does. She tells me about new stuff all the time. Nicole listens to detailed requests and handles them really well when I have them but also knows my current look, and brings suggestions, so I can just space out and let her do her thing. When I think I'm done, Nicole fusses over the little things. Eyebrows for example. I generally don't think or ask about those items, but much appreciated! Must also mention scheduling as Nicole is kind when dealing with my hectic schedule. Thanks Nicole! Love all the compliments I get
Getting a good haircut requires good communication between the haircutter and the customer. I have litttle sympathy for those who merely plop down in the seat and say "Gimme a trim," then walk out griping because they didn't get exactly what they want. The friendly stylists at this SuperCuts encourage you to tell them what you want. Hey, they're haircutters, not psychics! So be prepared to interact, and you will find them very accommodating. They are also very warm and personable, making a visit here fun,(unlike a more trendy nearby barber shop, where the attitude is "cool" bordering on mild annoyance, as though the staff are ticked off about having to have a day job while the band's playing beer-bars for peanuts.) Word has it that this particular Super Cuts "corrects" a lot of haircut misfires done by other shops, which wouldn't surprise me. They are indeed "super" in their own humble way.
What A Very Nice Art Show!Back on Saturday, November 5, 2016, I was on my way to Starbucks down on Wilshire Boulevard when all of a sudden I noticed something going on inside of the stores.I was very curious and so I peeked inside and noticed that there was an art show going on which was surrounded by very beautiful models.I honestly thought I was at the Americas Top Model Show, but No, it was an Art Exhibit put on by Donna Dyson who has had her art studio for the past five years, but has been in the business for the past 20 years.Furthermore, Donna Dyson is an impressionist, fine artist as well as a hairdresser and has such a Great Background with plenty of experience to show for.Enclosed, please find some pictures that I took of the event for your enjoyment.Thank you.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreParticipant And Promoter And Reviewer/HPS
My daughter is the Country singer-songwriter Imaj. I am her manager. We are always on the road for months at a time on tour. In the past it was always a tradition to get braids in the summer. Florida was my home. I now reside in Dallas. I've been wearing my hair really short. But I've been feeling the need to get my braids again. While I was home in Dallas I couldn't find anyone that could braid really short relaxed hair. I thought I would have to wait until I return to Miami. But while traveling in Los Angeles I found Braids Your Way and it was the he ultimate experience. From my initial call to the professionalism yet warmth and concern by Marthea (the owner) to the actual braiding experience itself was truly superb. So excellent that I will make a point to travel to have my hair done over again and again. Thank you "HAIR YOUR WAY"!
Jack is Rocks! He has to be one of the talented stylist. I was new to the area .I did some research. I read the reviews online. I had decided to go Sanat hair Salon.Jack transformed my hair from huge afro to straight. This was not easy deal, It hadn't been this manageable in over a year. I love the Keratin Treatment. It was life changing experience. He gave trim too :). If you want to really bee good to yourself. Try the Keratin Treatment. I highly recommend the Keratin Treatment and hair cut by Jack. He really did hard work on my afro hair.Thank you Jack :) I will come back.I can confidently say that this the great stylist and friendly Hair Salon in the area. Cute Clean, good parking spot, there is nice coffee shop to if you want to try the coffee shop.:)
My hair can be really difficult for some people to cut and I've had a few people butcher it back in the day, but I found Nina working at Floyd's in Burbank a few years ago and she's done a great job every time. I've been following her to every barbershop and salon she's worked at for years now and she just opened this place in Atwater with some other stylists. I haven't had a cut by any of the other stylist, but I can 100% recommend Nina. She is really great at what she does and is a really wonderful person. Very fair prices too for LA. Especially since there's no doubt that you'll be walking out satisfied.Book an appointment here: https://www.vagaro.com/TheAtwaterParlour#.UNye96xJaSo
James Kendall Salon is hands down the best new addition to West Hollywood!! Salon owner James Kendall has been cutting and styling hair for many years and I was lucky to have found him. I have long hair and it has looked the same forever—James found ways to not only style it but make it more manageable. Anival Morales is nothing short of a miracle worker. I moved to L.A. six and half years ago with hair in desperate need of a color fix. I’ve been with him ever since and get compliments on my color everywhere I go! He and James both have an extensive celebrity list and after you visit James Kendall Salon it’s easy to see why. They are both hair geniuses!

Since having babies my hair consistency has changed, including my eyebrows. I met Ronda before she opened her shop as she did my gels, mani/pedi and threaded my eyebrows. I told her how discontent I was with my consistency of my eyebrows and she suggested to do permanent makeup, but that I could do a natural feathered look and she was able to provide the service. I booked an appointment and all I can say is that she is amazing!!! My eyebrows look like they are naturally filled and blended. No one can even tell it is a tattooed (unless I told them of course). Her prices are very reasonable!!! I will ALWAYS go to Ronda for my touch ups!
