Worst customer service ever. Rented a vehicle there, it only had 2400 miles but when we drove it off the lot, the battery light is on, so when we returned to complain about it, we were told that we only have the car for 3 days, it will be fine. The representative did not bother to look at the car or swap it out... So as we go on with our trip, a warning message appeared and we called their 800 number, who said that we can keep driving it and they can swap it out when we get to SF. Lo and behold the car broke down on us and we were stranded on the side of the freeway for 5 hours! In freezing weather. They finally towed a car to replace the broken one... and when we returned the car, corporate asked that we speak with the manager on duty. The manager Stefano acted like they did not do anything wrong, non-apologetic, no compensation what so ever, and could've cared less that we sat on the side of the freeway in 38° weather with kids, and no heat. Asked to be escalated to the Regional VP and have yet to receive a call after a week. I’m a Hertz President Circle member, decided to try Sixt, but I’ll definitely stick to Hertz from now on.
A great store with a fantastic selection of items from the LA area. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful and I love all of the events she has in store.
If you like gummis this is the place for you. An amazing selection of Swedish candies and some cute gifts too. And the people are always so nice.
My go to gift shop for friends and family. They support local artisans and it is well curated with beautiful household and kitchen items. New baby and gifts for children can also be found here.
Gloria's Cake & Candy Supplies is under new ownership! The focus is on customer service, expanded hours, great new location 12740 Culver Blvd LA90066. M-F 10am-6:30pm and Sat 9am-5pm. Friendly, great selection, good prices for small, family owned business.
My wife and I were going to take this tour for Halloween but decided to wait until the next day. Honestly we thought this would be a low grade experience, but much to both our surprises we had a absolute blast. Our guide was awesome. We didn't do any fact checking or anything so I can't vouch for the validity of the tour but I can say it was good fun.
Shop has a lot of interesting things in it. There's candles and soap from different parts of the world which the wife totally dug. Also random knicky knacky things you can buy to decorate your place. You can find some cool gifts in there. There is a section for jewelry/art from local artists and also a section for childrens toys. The owner was a really nice guy and explained the origins of various strange objects when we inquired.
