I live just a couple of blocks from this location, and whenever I need a car, I always rent from them. This past weekend I rented from them again, and once again had a stellar experience, like I always have. I decided it was about time to write about them on here because I'm always so pleased with the efficiency, quality, and low price point of Enterprise. Thank you! I am always in and out of there within minutes, I always get a great car which is clean and functions perfectly, and the staff is just the best. I always say "you get what you pay for," but in the case of Enterprise (at least this location), it's the equivalent of paying for a Kia but getting a Bentley. This time around the person who helped me was Nathan, who was just superb and so helpful with all my geeky tech questions, then gave me a ride home instantly when I came to return the car. The entire experience was just so great I couldn't be more pleased. I told Nathan as he was driving me back home that I'd just had an unbelievably hideous experience with customer service at the online site glassesusa.com and that I was going straight home to write them a terrible review, and I'd give Enterprise and him the opposite. I am keeping my word. Thank you Nathan and Enterprise, I'll be back!!!!
First off, you ask me to give feedback but then direct me to a review site. If you want feedback send me a questionnaire. As for their service, I was excellent when I was working with their office at Edwards but when I had to work with their LAX operation was appauled. After waiting to be shown to a car for 20 minutes and being asked by 4 people if I had been helped, including a manager. When they finally got to helping me, they had a new agent that hadn't been trained assisting me. When they had all my paperwork in front of them, they were asking me what car I reserved, then was told to pick any of these cars that ranged from compact to full sized. Finally when it came time to sign the paperwork, they tried to get be to sign both the acceptance and decline box for the same service and after explain 5 times that I wouldn't because you only sign one of them, they stopped pressing the issue never really understanding what they were asking me to sign. If they were new and in training, then the trainer or manager needed to be close, but the manager acted like my agent new everything they were doing and they clearly didn't. Enterprise is the only rental company that has an office on Edwards AFB which is the only reason I use them.
I found Atwest Rent A Car an acceptable experience but it came with some scares. The guy that picked me up at LAX was about 30 min's late and showed up outside the departure lvl in a non-descript rental car (the guy must be really good at spotting customers in the crowd that are starting to look panicky). Atwest: Please invest in @ least 1 magnetic peel n' stick Atwest Car sign for the passenger side door: ($30). The actual rental went quickly but I was offered an upgrade that was recinded 30 sec's later and was then offered an immediate downgrade. I did end up with an acceptable car shortly thereafter though. At one point during the rental the car wouldn't start...the positive batt. terminal cable was not tight...I fixed it fast enough myself. The Return was fairly uneventful. Returned the car 15 mins late but then had to wait 15 mins for counter service - so a wash. They do put a $300 hold (above the rental charge) on your debit card and it takes 2 weeks for this hold to clear.
The company I work for requested that I switch from Hertz to Enterprise. As a business traveler I received an estimate via our travel agency and had a quoted itinerary. Due to airport delays I did not get to Enterprise until many hours after my scheduled arrival. It was very late an I was tired. When I got to Enterprise I went through the normal process of being asked if I wanted insurance/fuel. Then I received the estimate. Since I did not have my itinerary handy the quote seemed about right. What I did not realize is that they switched me out of the car that was requested into what they call a full-size car (A Sonata is a full-size? possibly a intermediate but not full-size) and they tried to charge me for Sirius radio which was not requested and the car I got did not actually have it. They did not point out they were charging me for an upgraded car. Had they done so I would have not allowed it. Now the company I work for is not reimbursing me for these extra charges. bait & switch?
Not what I expected out of Enterprise. The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because the shuttle picked us up from the airport to take us to Enterprise, the guy was nice enough to give us a fiesta over something smaller and the bus driver that picked us up from the airport helped my mother get safely off the bus before we could even get in front of her to help her. Ok, here were go.... The bus was slow picking us up from the airport. The Avis and Hertz had came and left the shuttle stop at least 5-7 times before the Enterprise bus came. The guy was quick to check us out but the car we got was a joke. The brakes squeaked very loudly, the trunk cover (to hide the stuff in the trunk) was broke and wouldn't stay up by itself and the transmission is 2 seconds from dropping. There were many times that we didn't think we were going to make it on the freeway. I will second think going through Enterprise the next time we travel! This car was very embarrassing and ridiculous!
I had a confirmed reservation on June 29, until July 6 for a total price of $130.38. At LAX branch, the lady behind the counter took my credit card, driving license and a copy of my printed reservation page, she then asked me to initial the agreement on a small terminal. At my hotel, I noticed that I am charged $439.74 which blew out my mind. I called the office and an agent told me that I have purchased additional services. I told her that I was not informed of these extra services and she replied that I must read before signing,The next morning I went to the branch at Beverly Hills and complained about this incident, the manager called the Airport office and had them remove the charge. This is a very bad and dishonest way of doing business. I am absolutely disappointed and feel that I was being conned and defrauded at the time of rental. I hope the the agent at the counter did this unlawful and dishonest act on her own and this is NOT a common policy of the company.
If this location was more handicap friendly may have given it a 5 star all around. The two shuttle drivers we dealt with on Wed, July 13 at mid day then again on Mon, July 18 were fabulous!! Can't say enough good about them, the way they handled us with my husband's inability to walk very well. Both went out of their way help. But at the office, there was not a wheelchair available to use to get my husband from the car through the building, so I had to leave him out front on a bench and after getting the car go pick him up only to be harassed by a traffic flow attendant while trying to get husband in the car. It was a driver that told me I could unload and load him there, then an attendant was totally rude telling us we COULD NOT put him in the car there. We did quickly as possible, without disrupting any shuttle activity. Driver that took us back to LAX was outstanding. He saw to it that Delta was there waiting with a wheelchair for my husband.
Landed at LAX on Nov 23rd, returned rental on Dec 1st. The experience was very good. The shuttle took about 30 min. to come around, but I knew that was standard by reading the reviews from others. Plus I think it's unrealistic to think it would be any faster at such a large and immensely busy facility. There was no lines at the rental center, but they were well staffed to minimize the wait time. Without the wait at the rental office the process of walking in the door and back out to the rental car was about 15 min. I have a son and her wife, both, now stationed at Camp Pendleton, I won't use anyone else. The rental fee is higher but for me, not enough to try the lower priced facilities because of the abundant negative reviews. ****I have to agree with Kyle A, when I write a review for a business, I want it to be at their website. I don't want to have to sign up for something else then unsubscribe to it just to tell you, you did a good job.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! I usually rent from Enterprise because I have several discounts to utilize (however, I was in such a urgent need for a car this time I forgot to use my AAA or ATF). Anyway, I reserved my car early Friday morning using my phone......reservations accepted for LAX because some of the other facilities I usually pick up cars did not have cars available....no problem. Arriving at LAX pick up just as a bus from the airport arrived plus there was a sports team with about 40 kids before me with several other clients....no worries! Once the line begin to move I probably spent a total of 15-17 minutes for the entire pick-up process (from check-in to car). The associate was very pleasant and upgraded me without asking. This was one of the most peaceful and rewarding customer service oriented car rental processes I ever experienced. Thank you for making this pleasant for me
Excellent service. So happy to give them 5stars. Car was ready the service agent walk us out to our car and gave us directions. I find that this local business around the airport have much better customer service than at the larger rental car company. The friendly and professional service I received made the transaction go smoothly. Well Done! Global All States Car rental always a pleasure to deal and truly make me feel like a valued customer. I was so happy with how quickly All States Car Rental agent processed my car rental. There is nothing worse than getting off a flight and go to get your car and there's big line even to get to the rental agent. Thank you God! The car I got was fine and he did not pressure me to get insurance or ask too many questions, so I am happy to give them 5 stars. I have used Global All States Car Rent before on numerous occasions and would recommend them.
