On 6/12, I Called WT For An Auto Trans Replacement. I Asked If It Could Be Done That Day And WT Said Yes And Told Me To Bring It In. WT Closed Shop That Day Without Finishing The Job. I Never Received A Phone Call Saying So, Nor Did WT Provide Me With A Loaner Rental Car As Clearly Stated On Their Website. On 6/13, WT Called And Only Said That My Car Was Ready, No Mention Of Additional Services/Costs. When I Went Into WT, They Said That My Car Was Four Quarts (Just Had An Oil Change A Month Ago So This Is An Obvious Lie. And 4 Quarts Low Means 100% Empty, Which My Car Showed No Signs Of) Low On Engine Oil And That It Was Over $100 Additional. It's Required That Auto Shops Obtain Approval From Customers Before Performing Additional Services, WT Did Not Do That Despite Having Ample Opportunity To. A Physical Altercation Ensued When The Mr. Hardass Cashier (Steven Rios) Refused To Honor The Originally Quoted Price. After The Employee Who Quoted Me Arrived (Jack Debasc), Who Did Not Help Diffuse The Situation By Walking In And Yelling After Everyone Had Already Calmed Down. WT Eventually Agreed To The Originally Quoted Price, But They Wanted Me To Pay Cash (Over $1000) So That I Wouldn't Be Able To Dispute The Charge (Which Is Totally Incriminating And Just Outright Unprofessional Thing To Do To A Customer When That Customer Called You Out For Attempting To Commit Auto Repair Fraud Against Them.) WT Lost All Credibility And Respect From Me.
I was in hurry and bump the rear end of my car. It was a horrible day. I was casually searching the web for a good car shop that will be able to rep…
I had this company rebuild my transmission and torque converter in July 0f 2014 on my 1993 G-30 Chevrolet van. It cost me over $2,900 and was given a 24 month or 24K warranty (which ever came first) for the work. I live out of state and travel frequently out of state in the van and had only used it sparingly while storing it for several months of the year in a covered storage facility. I had only 10,400 miles on the van when the van's transmission failed again. Unfortunately I was unable to have it towed 150 miles back to them since the cost of this would have been excessive. I had it towed to Tehachapi Transmission shop in Tehachapi, CA for an estimate where they discovered the work Westside Transmission's rebuild was poorly done and in fact two bolts within the transmission were not torqued down and came loose causing extensive internal damage due to blocking the flow of transmission fluid and overheating to the transmission. I offered Westside Transmission photos and to discuss the matter with the other Tehachapi Transmission mechanic who assessed the damage but they declined. Westside Transmission offered to rebuild my van's transmission again for $2,700 by discounting it $200 for me. I opted not to since it was their negligence that caused it to break down again with so little miles since they rebuilt it. I asked them to reconsider a larger discount since it had only 10,400 miles since they rebuilt it but they declined citing the warranty had expired. Westside Transmission originally told me they would honor their work outside L.A. if the transmission failed during the warranty since I now live and travel outside CA most of the time citing “as long as a certified transmission mechanic.” Obviously they were not willing to do this by insisting to have it towed to them and not giving more than a $200 discount for their work that should have been done right the first time.
good professional work done on my car will be telling family and friends, Good job! there the best prices around here you cant beat there deals, they left me with money in my pocket so I was happy will be back nex.t week for my other car thanks bladimir trans
I definitely recommend! I wanted to wait until I drive my Jag around for a while and ensure the quality was there. It definitely is. I still can't believe how much money I saved over a local rebuild. The work done to my transmission was substantially more intense and I have a longer warranty (2 years). From my first email to them to my last phone call, the Euro Transmission team was extremely professional and pleasant to work with.
Great service! They re-manufactured my 2003 S-type Jag transmission and it runs great. I got a great price and a two year warranty. They shipped my transmission in a timely manner. They made the process easy which really helped me out. It's comforting to know that my wife can now drive the car safely.
I came across Euro Transmission Specialists online while looking for another transmission shop that would rebuild my Jaguar transmission for cheaper then I was quoted. I didn't realize I can order the transmission online and have a local shop install it. From beginning to end, Euro Transmission's service was great. They were patient and helpful. They coordinated with my shop and made the process extremely simple. They charged me less than I was quoted for the transmission locally, including shipping. They actually re-manufactured it and replaced more parts then the shop that was going to rebuild it. I got a 24 month unlimited miles warranty which was one year longer than the quote I was given. Clearly, I was extremely satisfied and highly recommend them.
They have the worst service overall the owner he doesn't care about his customers he has workers that don't do their job right especially when it comes to transmissions every time they don't do the work well very very disappointed in them , all they care about is getting money and don't care if the cars are not fix .
I've taken my 2006 Jaguar XJ8 to many shops, but no mechanic has done a better job than Gabi. He's one of the more professional and knowledgable mechanics in Los Angeles.
Scam scam scam!!!! Price gaugers here, they will price gauge you to the point of insult! Chris is a scammer and is pretty AMATUER that is is upsetting! Stay away! They triple mark me up on small OEM parts, They will scam you!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....I beg you to not ever ever bring your car to this shop. Ive had a horrible and stressful experience with them. My car's transmission started acting up and since this shop was the closest and was recommended, I brought it in. they charged me $1600 and said they would rebuild it. I get it back a few days later and once I start it I noticed that it sounded like a dirtbike and it was still jerking while downshifting and while taking off. I brought it back in and did some "adjustments" and told me it was good. They claim they weren't responsible for the exhaust making that noise which was later proven they were. Long story short after filing a complaint with BAR, numerous calls to roadside, impounded while at their shop, tickets while at their shop, and almost two years later my car still isn't fixed and now they are saying its under new ownership so its not their responsibility. So off to court we go. Oh and they get their parts from junk yards, and I only gave them one star and that's too much for them. they deserve a -5. I cant stress this enough, DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
