World Aids Day was a Smash Hit!Back on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, I participated in a March from Hollywood Boulevard and Schrader up to the Dolby Theatre for the World Aids Day which was also known as "Keep The Promise" which was being sponsored by the AHF (Aids Healthcare Foundation).Once we got to the beautiful Dolby Theatre in which I have Never set foot in before, we then headed inside for a Fantastic Lecture and Concert featuring Patti Labelle, Rosie Perez, JoJo, Espinoza Paz, Jencarlos Canela, B-Flow and Harry Belafonte.I had such a good time overall and so did everybody else in which I will Never Forget! Here is a copy of a video that I just made during the Patti Labelle Concert at the Dolby Theatre for my Youtube Channel for your reference and further review. Thank You.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3y2qfDkEq38I personally want to thank everybody involved including the AHF and the Dolby Theatre for putting on such a Fantastic March and Evening Performance.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreParticipant, Executive Social Media Writer and Reviewer/HPS
I have been here a few times. It's a good place for concerts as the seats are positioned nicely for optimal viewing & it's not as big as the Hollywood Bowl. Availability of food & drink is ok, but the workers are quite slow making the lines long. Last night, however, was exceptionally bad & then to find out they don't have any of the cold wines! Don't know what happened, but that sucked. Overall, I would recommend it!
Saw the Pogues and The Specials at Club Nokia. The sound was great and they have an outdoor patio for smokers. There were drink specials that night, too. Overall, it's a pretty nice and slick nightclub. However, parking there is very expensive.
I've seen some tears-falling-down-my-face hilarious shows here and some improv shows that were pretty lackluster. It can be hit-or-miss that way, but the price is right, and it's good to support local talent.
Took the entire family ice skating and had a blast. They probably should clean the ice during the session and not after three hours of skating. But fun for all.
We love to come to eek at the greek. Concerts are also great at this smaller outdoor venue. Parking sux.
