my son attends this school. he started tk last year andhe improved a lot with his vocabulary and writing skills.the teachers and staff are very friendly and accommodating.they really take their time to listen to your concerns. the school overall is a very warm and family friendly place. im also planning to enrol my younger son at this school next year! my experience here is very positive! the school is academically competitive as well. i highly recommend this place for parents who are looking for a private catholic school.
Love the staff, they are wonderful and kind to all the kids. They really seem to care for the children.

Divine Saviour Catholic Church took me to court twice. Twice they lost. They had their church kids write lies about me and used them in court. Shame on them! The judge threw out of their stories (lies). Shame on them!!
Born in Catholic family however i attended public school.2nd semester moved to Hauser St.and enrolled in Holy Spirit School. Prepared for my 1st Holy Communion. It was a mental grind with plenty of study and I made it, my 1st Holy Communion. The sisters, priests and brothers were beautiful people. I will never forget Holy Spirit, a miracle from the hand of God. We moved back to Detroit. I would preferred to have finished out my 8th grade at HS and gone on to St. John Vianney for high-school. They say things happen for a reason and I would not question the workings of God, but Holy Spirit was such a good fit for me,. I loved the place, really. The only student I remember by name was LARRY JET. I still have my 7th grade class picture.
I have worked at Marshall off and on for many years. It's a positive environment with supportive teachers.
We have had a positive experience after a tough first year but that staffing issue was addressed. Wonderful parent group that works on fundraising and yearly events. We love Franklin and wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
So glad this is our neighborhood elementary school. The teachers and staff are so good at keeping the kids engaged and interested in learning. The extracurriculars are top-notch and there is a real community feel and commitment from the parents. My daughter is thrilled to go to school every day!
A fantastic place to study law in LA. The USC campus is beautiful and the school offers so much in terms of resources.
One of the top public schools in LA! Amazing teachers and Principal together with a wonderful community makes this school a -not so hidden- gem!
KIPP Scholar Academy has the absolute worst administrative team I have ever encountered. They have no true behavioral management systems in place and attempt to manage their students' behavior by yelling and physically intimidating them. The school's chaotic culture breeds disrespect towards teachers and prevents rigorous learning. If you walk through the school hallways, all you hear are overwhelmed teachers yelling at students and trying to maintain order in their classrooms. Academics are not a priority at this school and they have extremely low academic expectations. In the 2014-15 school year:3 of their teachers resigned midyear.50+ students withdrew from the school midyearAbout 25% of their staff are not coming back next school year.
PARENTS WAKE UP! Volunteer at this school and find out if this is good for your child.
