Love the ambiance and decor here. Really nice place to order bottle service, order some great food (I recommend the oysters) and enjoy some great music. Eat before 10 though because then it morphs more to the club scene side rather than the restaurant feel. Really nice hostess and service.
Great place to have your bday! I felt like I was in the 70's. Music and drinks were on par! Coming here again!
Be aware they might not let you in for no apparent reason. There are better places to visit in Hollywood.
Faultline Rocks On Latin Night Fridays!I have Not visited this club in many years. This is one of the few remaining older establishments left in Los Angeles and they are still going Strong! They have various theme nights and back on Friday, November 11, 2016, they had their "Esta Noche" latin night with plenty of Go Go Dancers, along with Live Shows to entertain you.Enclosed in the pictures, please find some examples of what I saw when I was over there. If you are ever in the Vermont Avenue/Melrose Avenue area of Los Angeles and want something different, then please come by and visit.Thank you.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreWriter, Reviewer and Promoter/HPS
The whole point of going here is to experience the rotating view. Yup, this is a rotating bar, offering a really great, 360 view of Downtown LA. The bar moves just slowly enough that you won't get motion sickness and just fast enough that you'll see all of DTLA in under 2 hours. As for the food and drink, they're perfectly fine. The catch is that this is a hotel bar, and so they charge hotel prices - so be prepared for a $17 martini. If it's any consolation, it's made with top shelf liquor. My only real complaint is that the service has been consistently slow. My servers are always friendly, but food is slow to come out and they don't check on you often enough. Still, if you have visitors from out of town and you want to dazzle them a bit - this is a site to consider.
Love this place! Have been coming here since my early childhood. Great food and very authentic. Sometimes there will be a trio of musicians playing while you eat.
One of the first of a resurgence of arcade bars popping up around town. They have a lot of the old classic arcade games and pinball games for a quarter (they have a change machine) and small tables near each machine on which to set your beer. They have a nice outdoor section if you're not into playing the games. I recommend getting there at around nine before the crowd really comes in.
This place feels cozy and intimate because it's below street level, small and dimly lit. Nice, low-key spot for a glass of wine and shareable eats (cheese plates, flatbreads, etc).
Amazing and always changing selection of taps, indoor and outdoor seating, very friendly staff. Free wifi, fresh food.
Best local dive! Very dark, a little musty with a dart board and great local folks. Cheap drinks! Opens at 6am
