Roger K. Sherman Company was founded in 1962 by Roger Sherman, the current owner and operator. Our mission was to provide the rapid and accurate delivery of custom microscope eyepiece reticules, calibration standards and ruled master gages. That mission stands today. In the early 1970's we introduced the first Line Width Calibration Standards for use in the semiconductor, biomedical and magnetic head industries. These standards have found a home in most semiconductor facilities around the world and have become the standard for that industry. Today we remain the leader in this field and have expanded our services to include the measurement and certification of disk drive magnetic heads, customer-supplied standards as well as the re-certification of our own standards and those manufactured elsewhere. Our standards are traceable to the U.S. National Institute of Standards & Technology ( N.I.S.T. ) and are usually in stock. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality product and service in the most timely and accommodating manner possible. We look forward to serving you.
