Stanley Steemer

I had the carpets cleaned before by a less known company, a lot cheaper, and i got a fair deal. This time a though a call a more professional carpet cleaner and used Stanley Steemer, I CAN'T BE more unhappy with the results. They did 4 bedrooms, the stains are exactly as they where before, even the little marks I could have got it out myself. I was so shock to see the state of the carpets when they finish. The looked almost as bad as they did before. When I told them, all they say is that they couldn't do anything more. They suggested my carpets where old. (They are 8 years old) and is only my husband and I .They said that the darker areas (Walking areas) I needed to change the padding or the carpets. Ah, but they didn't say that before they charge $201 for 4 beds. The attitude of the one guy was horrific. Never would I used them again. . Do the job right or get out of the carpet cleaning business. You took my money, and left me with my problem. Shame on you!

I will not use them again. I was quoted a price over the phone which did not include my hallway, even though I told them I had one. They charged me $20 for my hallway. I called the office to complain and the women on the phone was not nice and was not willing to meet me halfway. She left me no other options. When I told her I would dispute the charge on my credit card (just did it to show my frustration) she offered to have the owner call me. He has not yet called me. I just want what is fair. I have used All Pro and they did just as good as job, and are less expensive. I thought the more expensive service might be better so I tried SS. No difference in the quality of the clean and not worth the extra money.
