Dr. Kimbrough believes that the centerpiece of good dental care is a complete oral exam followed by a thorough cleaning. Dental cleanings include ultrasonic scaling followed by polishing and a mouth rinse, the combination of which is designed to remove plaque and slow its buildup.

Behavioral Counseling
Behavioral problems exist for up to 40% of all household pets. These issues are the primary reason why pets are either sent to shelters or even euthanized. The good news is that behavioral problems can be improved with behavioral therapy. Using humane training methods and techniques, it is possible to save animals' lives and enhance their relationship with you.
Nutritional Counseling
Why is this important? Pets are living longer, healthier lives than ever before and a big part of that is due to our expanded knowledge of the importance of proper nutrition to overall health. In fact, nutrition is the biggest health variable controlled by a pet's caregiver.
Comprehensive Examination
During your pet's comprehensive physical examination, we evaluate his or her body condition and give recommendations based on what we see.
Heartworm is not only a disease for dogs; cats can get Heartworm, too. Learn more by visiting The Feline Heartworm Society.

We carry Mill Science Diet, Purina, and Royal Canin.

X-Ray
Dental Radiology
Kimbrough Animal Hospital offers digital dental radiology which produces high-definition images of your pet's teeth. More accurate than traditional radiology, digital dental radiology produces clear images of the area below your pet's gum line in order to diagnose dental disease that cannot be seen by visual examination alone. This is powerful technology that enables the treatment of dental disease before it becomes much larger and more difficult to treat.
Here at Kimbrough Animal Hospital, we are associated with one of the best boarding and grooming facilities that the state of Texas has to offer, Gindy's Pet Resort. Gindy's is conveniently located inside of Kimbrough Animal Hospital, and has full access to their facility.
