Had a problem starting car. Took it in and they quickly replaced my alternator. Friendly, polite and quick.

You know how you do something and say I won't ever do that again, then do it again and wonder why? That's kind of like Kevin's Auto. I have taken a couple vehicles of mine there a few times and keep telling myself I won't do it again, but I do and they burn me again. I took my truck back in October due to a noise on the front drivers side. They replaced the wheel bearing on the passenger side and the noise is still there. I took my car due to white smoke coming from under the hood. They replaced the water pump and told me once I got there (and had already returned my rental on a Friday afternoon) that they found the AC compressor to be bad as well but that they had fixed the smoking problem, then handed me my key. Didn't have the decency to call me to see if I wanted that corrected as well. Here it is Monday and the car is smoking again. Alex at Kevin's Auto on Hwy 80 is worthless and he doesn't return calls. If you have money to throw away they will change parts out for you, just don't expect them to fix the problem.

Kevin's auto charged me for 4 quarts and I they did not put anything in it. My grandfather checked it and it was a court down. They didn't put anything in it. Truck only holds 6 quarts. The color would be lighter. (That would make it down 5 courts and certainly they would have filled it) AND YET IT WAS DOWN A QUART.

It went directly from Kevin's auto on hwy 80 to my home and sat for three hours on a white driveway. (Not even a drip of oil)

I called them. They said they put it in there. I asked them to look around and see if someone forgot to put it in. Maybe someone overlooked it. I'd be waiting for a return call. Don't worry I didn't hold my breath.

I called again and talked to manager then the owner at the other location on hwy 31. He lied and kept changing the subject when he couldn't answer me. Yes I called him a liar.

I went in there because my engine light was on. They diagnostic checked it and it came up the camshaft sensor (which they replaced a couple weeks ago) they were suppose to call before they did anything but said they put 4 quarts in it because it rattled when mechanic drove it in.

They said camshaft sensor was under warranty. I asked them to check wires and such because radio wasn't working. (My grandfather found the battery connection was loose Sooo they obviously didn't check that!)

The truck engine did not have a rattle. A mechanic drove it right before dropping it off there.

I wonder if my check engine light will come on again for the camshaft censor. I wonder if it even got replaced.

There is no way they put 4 quarts in my truck. There's no way they filled it and it was still down a quart.

They said it could have burnt off or evaporated. Really?!

THREE DIFFERENT TIMES FOR A MINOR OIL LEAK TURNED INTO A MAJOR LEAK BECAUSE OF RUNNING OUT OF OIL WAY SOONER AFTER REPLACING OIL PAN GASKET, MONTHS LATER LIFTERS REPLACED THIRD TIME I NOTICED I WAS LOW I ADDED OIL TOOK BACK INTO HWY 80 SHOP I WAS TOLD HOW I OVERFILLED IT AND IT WASN'T LEAKING .. MY MOTOR BLEW COUPLE MONTHS LATER BECAUSE I RAN OUT OF OIL AGAIN.. PER ALEX ON NOTE MOST LIKELY RAN OUT OF OIL DUE TO HIGH MILEAGE ONLY HAVE 160,000 MILES ON THE MOTOR AND I HAVE ALWAYS TOOK CARE OF IT. THE COMPANY IS VERY INEXPERIENCED I SHOULD HAVE BEEN REFERRED ELSEWHERE
