        Over a century has passed since Longmont Clinic opened in 1906. Today, our office has over fifty physicians in twenty different medical specialties, along with an Urgent Care department that is open seven days a week. Carbon Valley Medical Center, located in Firestone, opened in 2004 and provides care for the people of this growing community. In this office there are currently two family medicine doctors, two pediatricians, and specialists in allergy and immunology, dermatology, and Ob/Gyn. Both of our offices accept most health insurance plans.

        Overall

        I cannot recommend any clinic that places money above its patients. Longmont Clinic is exactly this. Their policy is if you get behind in payments, you may NEVER go back to the clinic. Now that Medicaid is available to most of us, I find they will not accept new Medicaid patients. In speaking with my doctor at another clinic, I was informed he believed this was a decision rooted in greed.



        Furthermore, my doctor at Longmont Clinic years ago, Dr. Kolsch, retired for this exact reason. He liked spending time with his patients, but the clinic demanded he see another patient every fifteen minutes average. He quit rather than treat his patients so poorly. They have excellent doctors, but an administrative staff completely dedicated to Profit, Profit, Profit.



        To the clinic: If you remove the post, I will repost every day. I also plan to repost to keep this at the top for much of the time. For profit clinics should and must be driven into a less greed-oriented attitude toward health care.
