Overall

I went to CSULB for Studio Art major ever since I heard the school was famous for the Studio Art and Performing Art programs. I appreciate greatly for my education and awesome faculties I met here. For Photography, I would suggest everyone to take Professor Todd Gray's class. He challenges his students in both visual and conceptual perspectives, which really helps me think about my work differently (in positive ways and not only limited to photography). For Asian Art History, take Kendall Brown's class. He is very knowledgeable and informative especially in Chinese and Japanese Art history. I learned a lot from their classes.

There aren't too many good restaurants nearby, but good food options within the campus. There are 2 Starbucks (1 inside the main cafeteria and the other is located inside the library); Robeks and Surf City Squeeze for refreshing drinks in summer days!
