Summary: I bought a Groupon for ABC detailing. I had never had detailing done before, but my friends told me that the inside gets so clean, even in crevices, that it's like having a new car. So for $100, I bought an "interior and exterior mobile detailing service plus carpet shampoo." Pros: --The owner, Matt, is extremely nice and usually replied to my emails quickly. The tech that cleaned my car was very friendly and courteous. --The exterior wash and wax was very nice and looked great. Cons: --I tried calling the number on the Groupon for 2 days to set up an appointment, and kept getting, "this Google phone customer can't be reached." --I finally got ahold of the owner via email. The company's website said that in the winter, they can't come to your house for the services since it's too cold, but that they will come pick up your car and then deliver it back to you. They did NOT do this--I had to go to them. --End of March I arrived at the house where they were doing the detailing (they are apparently between locations and operating out of a home). My car interior was basically clean, but there was still dust/dirt in the steering wheel neck and in the corners of the change tray, drink holder, etc. The rubber floor mats had, by the tech's own words, only been hosed down, NOT washed, so there was still lots of grime and gunk on them. --I emailed the owner to let him know that I had hoped for more. He was very apologetic and promised 1) to have someone come to my house to fix what I was unhappy with, and 2) to give me a voucher for a free detailing, that he would email to me "within 1-2 days." At this point I was happy with the helpful attitude, if not the actual work. --I emailed him 2 different times with dates that would work, and got no response (owner said he had email trouble and was on vacation). Since early April I have still heard nothing about the fixing the first job, or about the voucher. I debated writing this review for weeks because I don't want to give a company with nice people an unfavorable review. I finally decided that I needed to write it because I don't want someone else to have to deal with all this. The review is a reflection of the service I received, not of the niceness or great promises of the owner. In general, this company seems to be lacking organization and follow through.
