I signed up for the $19.99 special that comes with boxing gloves. The classes and instructor was great. The manager Stacey lacked customer service etiquette. The day I arrived to sign up there were purple gloves displayed. I asked if I could have those. I was told I needed to ask Stacey the manager, who was not there. I was given her number to reach out to her. I reached out to her on three different occasions via text and phone calls. I was told in order for me to be able to have the purple gloves, I needed to give them a review on a specific website in which I was obliged to do. I inquired about the website and was totally blown off. I referred my coworker to the I love kickboxing facility near residence. My coworker was instantly given the purple gloves, in which I saw myself. When I reported back to Stacey that my coworker had purple gloves, she instantly said that my coworker would've had to have completed a number of reviews before getting them. I believe customer service goes a long way. Kickboxing classes are awesome but it is pricey. If Stacey really wanted my business, I wouldn't have been given the run around about getting the purple gloves. May seem petty to some but to me it's a principle of customer service. Needless to say, I finished my 3 classes but will be taking my business elsewhere.
