Sent package 10/6/17 & bought $1,000 insurance ($102 to ship). 5 days later 0 tracking info has updated online & Ebay buyer sends nasty feedback and claims I'm scamming him. Called UPS Store & the manager Samantha said since a "rookie employee" took in my package, the owner shook the box and gave it the "eye test" days later, & decided to open and repackage my item for liability as it was "high value". When asked why they did not provide any updated tracking or obtain my permission (they said they were supposed to have made me sign a waiver for permission, but went head & did it anyway due to the junior employee), manager told me "the owner has owned this store 20 years, I think he knows what he is doing!". In my opinion this is horrible backwards customer service at BEST. The manager was very defensive and seemed put off and annoyed that I would even be unhappy with & have anxiety over having my high value packaged delayed for days and a completely invalid tracking number, only to find out it had been repackaged by the owner without my permission. I will lose money on ebay sales now for sure. Lol they even implied they did me a favor & should be thankful as I was not charged extra! yikes, and I never leave online reviews. Terrible, I would strongly recommend taking your shipping business elsewhere based on this experience!
