Joe Marras is unreliable. In the spring of 2017, Mr. Marras and I discussed his moving my musical instruments from Michigan to Arizona in the fall. I needed him to crate up my instruments in September, store them in his climate-controlled warehouse, and move them to Arizona in November. I called on August 10 to inquire about adding an additional service. Mr. Marras told me that he had decided (back in the spring) not to do my move. He never even called or e-mailed to let me know.

Brian is a wonderful teacher, and a really nice guy! My two children have studied with him for about 4 years. He's great at relating to kids at their level of understanding. He's inspired my children to progress and to feel proud of their achievements.
Brian did an excellent job of tuning our piano. It is older and we bought it used, so it was way out of tune. Now it sounds absolutely beautiful and my girls are so excited to sit down and play. Thank you, Brian!! I highly recommend!
Amazing teacher. Masters every aspect of both music AND teaching it. I had stopped playing decades ago after an uninspiring introduction through very typical piano lessons. Brian adapts his lessons to what the student seeks to accomplish, being able to cover the full spectrum of classical music, theory, and sight-reading basics to the techniques of improvisation and accompaniment. He explains concepts so that I finally am understanding all of the missing links, and i can't believe how much progress I have made in less than a year! Brian has unlocked music for me and is helping me achieve what I always hoped to, but never thought I could!
Brian Long has been teaching two of my boys piano for several years and has done an excellent job of connecting with both of them and helping them to progress in their piano playing. Brian has been not only a good piano teacher but has become a good friend and we really value his role in our boys' lives. My youngest son has some special needs, and Brian has adapted his lessons to really enhance my son's development. He has also tuned our piano several times and done repairs on it as well.
My son has been taking lessons with Brian for only a few months, but already I can see a world of difference in what he is learning (vs. when he was with a different teacher). My son actually enjoys being at the lesson too! Brian makes it interesting and fun and keeps it stress free. I appreciate the fact that he really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. I would most definitely recommend Brian as an excellent piano teacher. :)
Brian Long has been my son's piano teacher for two (going on three) years. He is an amazing instructor, a wonderful guide, and a positive influence in my son's life. More than simple piano recitation, he teaches my son how to think through and create music--in his head. Brian Long is not solely a music teacher; he is an important part of my son's intellectual development. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone interested in exposing himself/herself or his/her child to the wonderful world of music through piano. Brian is and continues to be a blessing to my son and my family.Yours Truly,R. Fountain
Brian Long has been my piano teacher for the past 5 years and has taught me so much. Not only did he teach me how to read music, play chords, and incorporate my own special touch to the pieces I play, but he has given me a passion to want to learn and appreciate the piano for the beautiful instrument that it is. The lessons are always stress free and fun and I look forward to being able to play with such a talented pianist each week.
