Luv Manicures and Pedicures

I've been here four times for a pedicure. The service I received has been excellent! The employees have been friendly and knowledgeable.

Personally, I appreciate that the staff speaks English. I found it rude when I've gone to other places, and the staff spoke only a foreign language, and only to one another.

Special kudos to Michelle and Patrice. They've both done an excellent job for me.

I've been to Luv's many times and never had any complaints. The staff is friendly and professional and if you're a walk-in (unless it's during the weekend) you don't have much of a wait. I would recommend scheduling an appointment since they are usually quite busy and I don't like to have to wait. Two thumbs up from me.

Do yourself a favor & DO NOT GO HERE. I have been to LUV a couple times only because it's at a convenient location (only a couple minutes from my work) however, after going in to get an acrylic set last week I will never go again. I called and made an appointment for 12:30 and once I got there I naturally had to wait 20 minutes before my nail tech came to get me. She sat me down, and said "oh I didn't know she scheduled you as a full set, how am I going to do a full set in 30 minutes?" I was shocked that she was taking this out on me especially when it was the receptionist who scheduled my appointment and knew I needed a full set. Well she finished in 30 minutes all the while rushing to get it done, barking at me to move my hand here and there, & ended up cutting me on 4 different fingers because she was going so ruff trying to be fast. Now I should have told her to stop the first time she cut me but I suppose I felt a little intimidated. I will never go back here ever again.

I brought my daughter here today for a bday mani pedi. There was one person ahead of us in line buying a giftcard. When she was done the hostess looked at us and said " did you need something?" I couldn't believe how rude her tone of voice was. What did she think I walked in the door an stood in line for? Duh. I said yes my daughter would like a mani/pedi. And she replied oh we are too busy with weddings today! Uhhhh it's Saturday at 3 pm and you have a ton of wedding parties coming in?? This was their 2 nd chance as last time they sucked too.

I will NEVER return to this salon EVER AGAIN! The commercial is BS..you are going to pay ALOT and the service BS! Nothing they did with my medi and pedi was acceptable. Do not waste your time going to this place. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN..Lets just put it this way I came home and had to redo my hands and feet cause I did a much better job than any of them in that place! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! SECOND! OMG! I had to sign myself in while these two females sat behind the desk and sucked down there starbucks coffee gossiping bout anything and everything, but they sure were on it for me to pay and didnt even give me my receit! WASTE! WASTE! WASTE!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAD TO PLACE A STAR..BUT DONT LET THAT FOOL YA!

I would NOT recommend this salon! I had gel nails done and I have had nothing but trouble with them! Within 1 week I had 5 different nails break. They broke just doing everyday activities so I wasn't giving them a beating. I scheduled an appointment and ended up waiting 25 minutes past my appointment time. The girl who did my nails was rude, not friendly at all. I will never go back there! I will be finding somewhere else to get my nails done!

Absolutely horrible, worst mani/pedi ever. I'm sticking to the oriental girls, they know what they are doing. This place is awful. Went there with the bride the week of her wedding. They screwed up her nails, she went back 2 days before her wedding and they screwed them up again. We paid extra for the over coating to last longer, our nails peeled before we left. We asked for refunds they never gave them. I called every day for 3 wks then repordte them to the bettter business bureau. Plus we got there on time, they ran over 1/2 hr late taking us back and wouldn't fix our nails that night because it was almost closing time. I know at work if I don't get my job done I stay late. The girls couldn't do a french manicure if their lives depended on it.

Don't go there! I had a gift card for a mani/pedi that, according to them, should have taken 55 minutes. I got 30 minutes for both. She did my manicure while I was sitting in the pedicure chair, which was fine, except, instead of switching sides to do my other hand, I had to cross my hand over to her. This was the worst manicure I had ever had! You could see exactly where the top coat was and it didn't even cover the whole nail. It looked awful. I sent them an email from their website and did not receive a response of any kind. Will never go back and I guess they don't care!!

My mom and I went there today to get a pedi/ and our nails filled-in. We were not Impessed at all. The floor was very dirty, they left our finger nails sharp, and painted them crooked. The water for our pedi was very HOT at first, and after I notice that my feet were still rough. While filling-in my nails the lady I had would stop to watch the tv thats there at the small table. They our a little over priced for the job they do. I will not be going back there and will not recemend it to anyone.

I went to their salon for a manicure. The receptionist was very helpful and the service was friendly and quick. It was a very nice atmosphere overall. Everything was fine until the moisturizer was gone. My manicure looked horrible. I had to go to work the next day. Everyone at work agreed that it looked really bad. So, I decided I would go back and show them, give them a second chance. After work the next day, I went back the salon and showed one of the receptionists my manicure. She agreed that it looked bad. However, another girl walked over and said that they only do light cuticle trimming and that she was sorry, but they can't do anything about it. If I wanted a polish change, I would have done it myself. A manicure should not leave cuticles all over your nails. Needless to say, I am not going back there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
