I used Ashton Tree Service recently for some tree trimming. The young men that did the trimming did a great job and were very helpful, cleaned up perfectly.
However, the owner who comes out to give the estimate was quite unfriendly, borderline rude, as well as his customer service person. Frankly, I preferred not to give him the business, however, the price was good, better that two previous estimates. Being a former business owner, I know that being personable and friendly is the main reason someone would choose my business over another.
I guess if you can deal with it, the value is good.
Ashton completed a major landscaping project for me this summer. I had a serious drainage issue where my patio flooded in hard rains. In addition to fixing the drainage issue we had major landscaping completed with tree trimming and removal.
Ken gave us great suggestions on limiting costs. The quote was fair and the execution was excellent. They were friendly and professional. When the first attempt to control all the flooding was not as successful as we hoped. They came out and reworked portions to fully resolve. No questions asked!!
Easy to work with and highly recommended!!!! It's refreshing to work with a reputable company.
