Awesome food and great experience! I would recommend to everyone! The food was fresh and the prices were affordable!

They have great food here. Their drinks are never consistent, either too weak or too strong. This is probably due to the fact that certain bartenders have a tendency to drink behind the bar while on the job.
So crowded and loud, I could not even hear myself think! I'm from Mexico and this is not real authentic food. Also, the servers are very unprofessional.. running around, playing games, and picking their noses. I was not impressed! I won't be back
Very mediocre food and atmosphere. Pass them by.
Here's some tips on taco del mar the wraps are alot of times molded because no one eats there and they sit so long. They just simply throw any moldy ones away and keep the rest. The meat comes out of plastic bags and then put in a plastic container and they sit for days at a time. The food sits in the oven or hot line all day and at night if unsued it goes back into the fridge and used again the next day. There are about 10 customers all day so the food is prepped and is resued everyday The dishes are not washed very well so there is a mass amount of build up on them from the food from previous days. Beans sit all day and water is added to them nonstop to keep them from drying out. Beans will sit in the heater for 12 hours and will be reused the next day. The guac turns brown after a period of time and they just pick out the brown coating and reuse it day after day. The rice is usually very old and gets very hard because it sits so long. I would suggest staying away from this place. The business is so slow that the product is old and they do everything they can to save it and reuse it.
I frequent this establishment about once a month since it is near where I attend school. Today I had an entertainment coupon for this specific location. When I walked in a showed the employee it and the owner/manager (not sure what he is) stepped in and seemed annoyed I had this coupon. He proceeded to tell me everything that I cannot order with the coupon, but talked so fast I couldn't keep up. I was willing to work with what I could order though. He was just rude in general the entire time and then I apparently didn't get my discount because I ordered something that I wasn't "allowed" to order and never gave back my coupon. He did not seem to be willing to work with me either so I could use the coupon. I will NEVER come back here again and will from now on just go to Qdoba which is across the street. This man needs to learn some customer service skills if he doesn't want his place to shut down because he is so rude!
Ate there a couple of weeks ago with my son. I thought the place was tacky and not very clean. Food was bland, no cilantro and little cumin, Mexican flavors I crave when I go for Mexican. Guacamole is bought, not fresh, little taste. Paid $6.75 for a "tall" margarita that should have been about a $4 drink, tops. Waitress didn't check after serving until we were done and brought the bill. Two starts since the spanish rice was OK.
The food is AMAZING!! I love the atmosphere and the sraff is great! I drive from Royal Oak to eat here and it is worth the drive!!
When we walked in, there was a young woman taking an order from a customer. She was very polite and we watched her make the order. Every thing looked good and the portions she made were large. She finished with that customer and was about to take our order when a man came out from the back room and said, "I got em." Then he just stood there and looked at us. Did not greet us or speek a word.We placed our order and he mumbled the price. He took our money & proceded to make our food. He never asked us what we wanted on the items, we had to speak up and tell him. The portions were about half of what the previous customer got so I mentioned this to him and he said "That the way it comes" I asked to talk to the manager and he said "Not working today" and walked away from us.To sum it up, terrible service, small portions, food not very good, and way overpriced. Will never eat at this location again. We did try another location in Southfield several months later. The portions were big, but they forgot to put the cheese on the burrito and did not give us any sour cream or salsa which it was supposed to come with. The steak was tender but flavorless.
Food is excellent, portions are great, you will leave full
