My daughter has been in the toddler room for six months. We're very pleased and full of gratitude for her teachers Ms.Sabrina and Ms.Payton. They pay attention to her likes/dislikes and have grown to know her and she them which is comforting to a parent. Food is fresh and healthy as is the facility. We would highly recommend.
Connie was very helpful during parent-teacher conferences and spent a lot of time with us explaining our twins progress and what she was doing to encourage their growth. For example, our son is shy and reserved so she has been giving him leadership roles in the classroom to give him more confidence. This really impressed us, we are very happy with our choice to join the Learning Tree.
My twins just love Ms. Alyssa! Shes very caring and nurturing, just what you look for in a child care provider. My daughter especially can't leave the classroom each day without a giant monkey hug from her. We are so happy we joined learning tree, there are so many great things about it from the organic meals to the communication, but the best thing is the great people there.
Alyssa was so great during drop off - when our son would have a hard time in the morning, she was always quick to sense it and jump in to help make it easier. She would notice this in the craziness of room full of kids aged 3-4, and make sure to pay extra attention to our son to make him happier! Our son has even talked about her at home, how he liked playing on the playground with Ms. Alyssa. Very glad to have had Alyssa helping out, she really goes the extra step to make it easier for parents and fun for the kids. Overall, Learning Tree Livonia West is a great center. Everyone there know both of our boys and they make us feel welcome and we know our kids are cared for. We know we have good people caring for our kids!
Ms. Makenzie is an amazing teacher. We are so happy that Emma has such a sweet loving teacher. We love seeing her every morning with a big smile on her face ready to welcome Emma to class. She is very hands on and loves working with children.
Ms. Amanda is the best Preschool teacher at the Learning Tree. She's very patient and caring with the children. Absolutely love her!!!
My son had an awesome year in Miss Sarah's Pre-K class. I'm happy he's moving on to Kindergarten soon, but sad that he won't be hanging with Miss Sarah anymore! She was always great to him. He was happy to be in her class, and she was just as happy to have him. Ms. Sarah appreciates and understands her students unique abilities, and helps strengthen them. She's a special kind of teacher.
I dont think you should have someone fill out a dhs clearence form until they are hired. That gives the applicant false hopes. Also communication between centers about job applications on indeed. Also should send a letter that you went with someone else.
Experience was fairly good until the end. We informed the manager in August we'd be pulling our kids out at the end of September due to job loss. They did not communicate that we'd be hit with a full year registration fee plus activity fee plus late fee we were charged while trying to straighten things out with them. We attempted to offer to pay a prorated fee for the time our boys were enrolled but were told the charges are "automatic" and there was nothing they could do. Very surprising for what we thought was a small business. Also, teachers only get bonuses for parents posting reviews. Company allows them to beg the parents for reviews instead of completely focusing on caring for the kids. Overall the teachers we had were good to our kids. Company is what we were unhappy with overall. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone based on that.
My daughter has been at The Learning Tree for 2 1/2 years now, and we have had nothing but good experiences there. Their staff is friendly and great with the kids. The teachers are very helpful with troublesome drop offs. The teachers keep the kids busy and entertained all day, and keep them learning at the same time.
