Went back to Campo this weekend to take some visiting friends. Had no trouble getting a court around lunch time. They even waive the corkage fee if you bring Livermore Winery drinks. The appetizers are amazing too!
Great place to go, and the environment is amazing too!

So we've never been impressed with Campo di Bocce, but we couldn't pass up the Monday Special for $10 (all-you-can-eat spaghetti with meat sauce and Caesar salad)...and that's how we ended up here with the in-laws. As it turned out, it was actually a pleasant surprise that was a great improvement over our past experiences here! The only thing that didn't change was the bread they serve here...it still resembles a damp sponge. Yucky.
Surprisingly, we had better service tonight than we've ever had in the past. Our drinks were refilled promptly, food was delivered at the proper temperature and in a timely manner, the server and busboy appeared during the proper intervals and were pleasant and accommodating...wow! On top of all that, their Caesar salad was above average and even included Parmesan shavings. It was so good, I took advantage of the all-you-can-eat Caesar salad...not the spaghetti, which I thought was edible-but-not-memorable.
Actually, the portion of spaghetti they give you isn't skimpy at all. It would take a reeeeeeeeeeeally hungry person to finish two servings of spaghetti, so like most places, ""all-you-can-eat"" isn't exactly what it's made out to be.
We stumbled across this place the other weekend. We had a late lunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great outdoor patio where you can watch the Bocce courts. My sandwich was delicious. My husband's gnocchi was okay. Not bad just not a lot of flavor. Service was very friendly. We'll definitely be back with some friends to play Bocce.
