Dr. Singer was the doctor we ended up with when I took my eighteen year old daughter in with a temperature of 102.5 and a sore throat. Dr. Singer left the exam room several times to answer phone calls (evidently someone valued his opinion...maybe his stock broker?) and never once looked at my daughter's throat. He said she probably had a virus, sent us on our way, and all I knew was that she was very sick. Four hours later, in a throat specialist's office, the doctor found her tonsils so infected that he had to aspirate them (a very painful process) and put her on powerful antibiotics so he could remove her tonsils a few days later. Rate Dr. Singer? Is there a MINUS system??

P.S Dr. Palmer is great.

Plan to be on hold for at least 15 minutes when you call to make an appointment sometimes closer to an hour. They will tell you to arrive 10 minutes early for "check in" which basically means plan to wait 10 minutes in line for one of the receptionists to acknowledge you. Once your acknowledged the office staff is rude, and inconsiderate of the fact you probably don't feel well. In fact on most occasions they are down right rude. Once checked in wait time in the office is either very short or VERY LONG, plan to spend at least 90 minutes but once in a while you'll be out in 15. On the occasion you're out in 15 it's because the MDs in the practice are mostly concerned with the money over patient care, listen (barely) to symptoms and write a prescription, order a test or sent you off to spend more money in a specialists office. It's all about how many patients they can process for the most money, not about a relationship or partnership in your family's health.
