Grrrr8!!! Rina and her staff do a great job of working with the difficult dogs that we own. One is an older Cocker Spaniel who is very set in HIS ways. The other is a very spoiled Shih-Tzu who thinks HE has to have his way all the time. Neither like having their nails trimmed. But most of all our Shih-Tzu does not like having his face washed, combed or groomed. With all this in mind, they both look amazing when they get picked up. I have never felf uncomfortable leaving my "BABIES" with Rina and her staff.
I'm writing this review today to explain how impressive Rina's grooming business is. Herself & her staff are so patient with our pets! Her salon is always sparking & she always goes the extra mile, fashioning bandanas for all pets groomed in her salon. I always refer friends or family when I see a four legged friend who would benefit from a trip to A Paw Spa :) Our pets & all of her clients fully & completely trust Rina & her crew with our precious little fur babies. That's very hard to come by!
I am so glad to have finally found "Groomer Peace"! Over the years of having my dear Smokie, I have tried so many groomers, but never found the one, until I visited A Paw Spa. Not only is the interior of the salon clean and welcoming, but the employees, especially the owner, Rina, are all a treat to deal with! When I tell Smokie we are going to see Miss Rina, he is so excited! Ever since finding Rina and her salon, Smokie is excited to get groomed and bathed, where he hated it before. Rina, thank you so much for making Smokie's grooming experience so positive, you are awesome and I will never go anywhere else!
We have been bringing our dogs (a variety of breeds) to Rina for 7+ years. They have received loving gentle care every time and always come home looking and smelling great. Rina always honors our special grooming requests and was especially gentle with our very Sr citizen when she became unable to stand for long periods of time. We drop our little guys off for doggie daycare when we plan a long day of skiing and they always look forward to these days.
I have never left a review before but felt I needed to write one today.....I Just picked my Shih tzu up from her first grooming Rina and her crew and couldn't be happier with the results!. My dog is older and a bit cranky at times and can be a challenge to groom and our past experiences with other groomers have been quite unpleasant for my pup. Rina was amazing with her and she looks fabulous. No nicks, razor burns or any other problems she even managed to put two pretty little bows on hers ears ( that has never happened before) my dog doesn't sit still for that stuff lol. We have found a new groomer for my Miss Beezy....We'll be seeing you again in about 4 weeks.:)
HELLO TO ALL THOSE LOOKING FOR A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE YOUR DOG OR CAT GROOMED! I have had my Sammy visit with Rina several times...he comes out looking GREAT...smells good and even gets a cute little scarf to go with the season or holiday. The only issue I have with him going there is I think he likes it there better than home. Rina told me that the excess hair he has will best be removed by a special combing and she promised that he would have very few loose hairs...she was wrong ... he had no loose hairs for almost a week...I won't take my pup any place else. He gets a treat, smells great, looks great, and comes home super happy! Thanks Rina and staff ... signed SAM your customer pup for life. I will be seeing you before Thanksgiving for Sams regular freshening up and possible my kitty Scruffs too.
Dearest Potential Client, I am writing this just to give you some food for thought. How often do you walk away from a business with a good, wow that was a great experience kind of feeling and maybe tell one person, but how many of you would really take the time to seek out a way to publicly tell your feelings? Most would happily continue to return to that business but not make the effort to come here and wrtie a positive review. However, most people if unhappy will beeline to their computer to write a scaving review. All I ask is that you consider that when someone writes a negative review, there are hundreds and hundreds of happy customers who you are not aware of because of human nature. Please also be aware that employees know the importance of this type of advertising and I have been made aware that many terminated employees will try to tarnish a businesses reputation by this method. It started as a great way to review a business, but over time, it unfortunately has lost its ability for you to trust whos words you are reading. Now there are even companies that feed off this service, and they call daily trying to get businesses to "pay a fee" to get bad reviews "removed", and they dont even remove them, they pay people to go to the business site and write fake good reviews to push those bad ones farther down the line, so people wont see them. Rina and her staff have groomed my Wheaton (Chloe) for 4 years. I have had Wheaton's for 17 years and no one in the area does as good a job as Rina and the A Paw Spa staff. They are always friendly and helpful. The shop is clean and always look nice. I am comfortable leaving Chloe with Rina and Chloe is always happy to see her. I always recomend A Paw Spa to everyone I meet that has a dog. I would never take Chloe to anyone but Rina.
I have been taking my standard poodle to Rina for over a year. Rina and her staff do a wonderful job. Lily had not been to a groomer before I got her, so she was nervous at first. Rina and the girls worked with her so much to make her feel comfortable, and they are all very good to her. Lily also has a very thick coat and Rina worked with me to find a length that is comfortable for Lily and easier to maintain. Rina and her staff go out of their way to make sure they are doing exactly what my dog needs — i.e., no cookie-cutter grooming — they pay attention to who my dog is, and how best to care for her. They are always very friendly and I know they really love Lily. I will not go anywhere else and neither will Lily!
I run a mobile business because of Rina. She is the person that gave me all the knowledge and inspiration for being a pet lover and groomer. I have a 6 year old Great Pyrenees and He has a hard time standing for long periods of time. The large kennels and back yard play area accommodate his large size. She allows him to rest between bath dry and clip. Which is why as a groomer I take my Big Brodie to A Paw Spa. He comes out looking like a show dog and feels like a bunny! We love Rina and her staff and thank her for doing a wonderful job!
