Been with them for 15 years, but today was the last straw. Have repeatedly talked to them about warning me when they were coming & today the driver just showed up & let my dog out. Found him, thank goodness. They used to call every week or so to find out if I needed a delivery when I only needed about 2 a year. Whenever they would show up & I wasn't home they would switch me to will call & charge me extra for my delivery. After reading the other reviews I can't wait to see what they're going to do to me when I switch propane companies.
Only a 0ne star because there is no zero. Every single transaction with these people is about as pleasant as a root canal. Lost billing, failure to register payments. When they finally picked up their tank, they billed me for that too. If they were the last propane company on earth, I would burn buffalo chips.
I have never had such a bad experience with a company before. I have been out of propane for weeks and they came to bring me some and found that there was a part on the tank that was broken. They said it wouldn't probably be in til after the weekend. When I didn't receive a call, I finally called on Thursday and found out that they had the part all week, just forgot to call me. They said they could come on Friday between 9 and 11. I had a funeral to go to, so I paid my neighbor $20 to go over there when they called and let them in. When I texted her at 1 and they still hadn't called, I called them only to find out that they already came!! So, my neighbor sat home for nothing. They said they called me and I didn't answer. I knew that wasn't true because I had been waiting for the call and had my phone in my hand. I checked my call log anyway and found no call from them. I was infuriated. So, I called again and she said she would have someone come on Saturday at noon. So, I paid my sister $25 to drive all the way from Rosamond to Lake Elizabeth to sit there and wait. She got there at 11:15 and then called me at 1 and said she had to leave and that they never showed up!! I called and left message after message and couldn't get a hold of anybody. Meanwhile, I had to drive home from my 17 year old niece's funeral in Nevada to make sure I was home by 1 when my sister had to leave. I had to leave at 3:30 in the morning and arrived home at 1:30. And they NEVER came!!!! I will never ever do business with them again!! To treat people with such little regard is something no one should ever tolerate! Please spread the word. They are not the only propane company and we need to get rid of them. Meanwhile, it's now been 2 1/2 weeks on no hot water, no heat, no stove, no oven and no dryer for laundry. It's bad enough that 1 person has to go through that. Even worse when you have kids living there!
The fact I had to give them a star is the only reason you see one! They are the worst business I have ever dealt with. No one takes accountability and won't fix their issues. Customer servuce is the worst!!!!!! I will never recommend this company to anyone. Switched to Phelan Gas and couldn't be happier. This business needs a complete overhaul if they want to keep any business
Mountain ProFlame has attempted to exact payment for canceled serves. The yearly rental of the tank is paid in advance. This year we informed them that we had sold our home and would not be renting the tank. However, they continued to send us past due notices for the rental with late penalties. We called after each notice. Apologies were made and promises were given to correct our account. However, the notices continued with additional penalties. Then we received a notice from a collections agency. A ProFlame supervisor promised to rectify the situation, notify the collections agency and send us written confirmation of the correction, which we never received. We are still receiving collection notices!Also, the last payment we made to ProFlame was over the phone with a new credit card. Immediately after the credit card company notified us of fraudulent purchases. We called ProFlame and were told that they do not ask for the security code; however, they did ask for it.
DON'T DEAL WITH LITTLEROCK MOUNTAIN PROFLAME!!!!! Been a loyal customer for 25 years and now I can say I am a very dissatisfied customer. They have doubled our tank rental from $43.00 to $ 89.00 propane went from $ 2.49 a gallon to $ 4.54 a gallon when everyone else we called are $2.40 to $ 2.49 we got a bill for 681.49 just for propane. We called we could not reach them by phone so we went in they said they would lower our bill if we paid $119.00 for special contract called cal plan and would give us the a fixed rate till march only , but we have to pay to get it..what the heck !!!! we had to wait for a new bill and to our amazement it said we owed them $800.49 we have been trying to contact them for 3 day calling them all day no answer only a recording. called the emergency number on the bill which sent us to Ameria gas whom handles this.customer service was no help .. We are going to go with someone more reliable.
Same here no propane for a month or so won't answer phone calls, Maybe the are going out of business I just switched. Plus their accounting is all screwed up says i have not paid but I have canceled checks.
Horrible doesn't begin to describe them. Been calling for 3 weeks. Called cell numbers of drivers too, no answer. Today they finally answered and then left me on hold for 20 minutes. No one answered. Two previous calls for emergency delivery ignored.Called local competitors who stated that they are backed up due to a high number of Mountain Proflame customers, in December, who have cancelled their service, or lack of, with Mountain Proflame and signed up with a new service. My new service can't set me up till January 18 due to all his new Mountain Proflame customers.
am a VERY dissatisfied customer of 29 years. I am currently sitting in my frigidity cold house with my 5 small children, one of whom is sick. I have been calling Mountain Proflame in Littlerock CA for over a week to get delivery. They have had my account on a pending delivery since November. Now that I have less then 5% propane I have been contacting them all week. Everyday they tell me that I will get a delivery and I still haven't! The emergency delivery line has informed me that no other company can fill my tank, so I am at the mercy of them to do it. We have not showered, heating our home, washed cloths or dishes. We are only doing minimal heat cooking. We drove out to the local office today and were lied to once again about delivery. I don't know what it will take for them to be honest and do their job!!
