The staff is very nice and extremely knowledgeable they helped me find the perfect pair of glasses my prescription is extremely high and not everything works and didn't take them long at all to find the perfect pair for me

I went in because the contacts I got elsewhere were not doing the job. The Dr. gave me an exam and informed me I had cataract. That's why my sight had changed. The other Dr. made no mention of it. I had surgery on both eyes and now I see perfect. He was AWESOME. I'd recommend him to everyone.
I think they did a wonderful job he has a lot of customers i waited maybe 15 mins he has a great sense of humor he's not rude he just try and may you feel comfortable

On my first visit I was not immediately greeted, they were all huddled together with the Dr talking about a customer. When he gave I guess what he considers to be a greeting he said "hey little girl". During the exam his assistant was very nice & he was okay. Afterwards he basically told me to pick some frames & walked away, not seeing if I had questions or any understanding of single lens, bifocal,ect. I had to go find him after waiting for a while. I picked my frames, he measured me & I left realizing no one ever told me how long it would take for my glasses to be ready, nor did anyone call me when they came in. I'm in the area today, so I called to see how long it would be before they came in & I was told they were in. It would have been nice to get a call, email or even a text. I won't be going back to them!
He was very rude from my first appointment with him. He always greeted me saying "hey little girl". I am an adult and I do not think that is professional. I have been back and forth with them for four months. They have misplaced two pair of glasses that was suppose to been on my chart for me to order. I have receive almost four calls telling me that my contacts are in, never the less, once arriving there, my contacts are not there. I call one last time to see if my glasses have made it in. The lady on the phone tell me that there are no glasses on file for me. I said ok, but explaining this situation has happen once before. She told me " your contacts are here". I went up there, no glasses are on order or contacts. I decided not to get the glasses since an order had not been placed anyway. I told Norton that I wanted to cancel the contacts order if the order had not been placed yet. He stated "just as well as you are tired of us, I am tired of you. Go take your business else where." I responded "I sure will". Norton responded "lucky us". This is very unprofessional as Doctor.
the doctor was nice and to the point during my visit. i did not have to wait a long time and even though the appointment cost a little more($90+/-) than most eye doctors you get a pair of glasses with that price, which i really liked. he told me about a web site that they are partners with and i got my contacts at a super reasonable price as well.I'm not sure about the other folks saying that the doctor threw a fit and yelled at them or how that went down, but he seems to be a super cool hippie type of guy. Super Chill. so for him to be yelling at you, you must have been totally unreasonable or something to that nature, probably acting a fool your self.
I have been going to Contact Lens Express for about four years now, Every year there is always a problem. I live in Benton so I have them mail me my contacts when they come in so I don't have to make the trip back and forth to Little Rock. The year before last it took 6 months before I got my contacts and there was nothing I could do because my insurance had already been billed. This year I went in and as usual when they sent my contacts there was a problem, they were positives instead of negatives and I couldn't see anything. So I took them back then they sent me balsom laub instead of air optix and I took them back. Next they told me they had mailed the air optix and even gave me a tracking number, which turned out to be the tracking number for the balsom laub they had sent. They had not even mailed my air optix and were telling me they did, so I gave them a piece of my mind, It was high time I did. I had to drive back to Little Rock and decided to stop by the Contact Lens Express before I went back to Benton. Dr. Tim Norton was there and waited until all the customers were gone and started yelling and screaming at me in front of my son, bouncing back and forth on the floor. I don't know what the woman I had spoke with told I said but I'm guessing it was that I told her everyone there was stupid because he kept yelling "ain't nobody stupid here" although he looked pretty stupid to me. If they had just gotten one order right one year. I would have never said a word. I went there because I thought they were cheaper but after that whole mess had happened. I called around here in Benton and found an eye doctor here that only charges $79.95 for air optix. Contact lens Express charges $95.00 and a whole lot of headache for free. I would never step foot into that unprofessional, arrogant, pompous jerks store again.
The whole process was super fast and easy! I was in and out in less than half an hour. Dr. Norton reduced a prescription from my old doctor and I find I have fewer headaches now! Highly recommend!
I came to get eye glasses and contacts. a month had passed by and my order still was not complete. i also recieved a letter from my insurance company of all the charges they were billing me for. i was charged for a entire years worth of benefits in one visit for some thing i didnt receive. the people asked that i bring the letter to them. I asked why my contacts has not arrived and they kept offering me trial pair lenses. then they stated my insurance had not paid so they hadnt ordered my contacts yet. i knew this wasn't the case because i had already talked to my insurance agency and they had already sent payment. the doctor was rude and ordered us to return the glasses we had already paid for and when i got there to return the glasses they gave me a hard time about some contact solution they had given us that was already used and opened. these people are rude and cheap and i will never go there again. beware!
