I bought a package of hearing aid batteries at an inflated price to save myself a drive to a discount store. I immediately went home, opened the package, put one in my hearing aid and it lasted five minutes. The next less. I went through almost the entire package in less than 30 minutes. I panicked thinking something was wrong with the hearing aid. I finally found one of a different brand stashed away - it is still going strong a week later. I tried to return the package I bought at this Kroger a few minutes ago WITH my receipt. I was informed they couldn't take it back because I'd obviously opened the package and let them go bad - they'd only take back unopened ones. EXCUSE ME??? I was basically called a liar by customer service. The woman them said she was tired and not going to argue with me anymore and would just give me my money back. She didn't even offer me an apology.

This is one of the ugliest Kroger stores in Little rock, closest to the Governors Mansion. Heard they would remodel it but not the bathroom. It is one of those stores stuck in the segregation ear with no deli seating, buy your food and go. I've been writing and doing survey to both the Corporate Headquarters and the City of Little Rock Mayor, Manager, Board and Code Enforcement for years about upgrading it for the loyal community and those wonderful employees and whatever is planned for it, it's a secret. It is like the community doesn't know what or how and the powers that be must make decisions for this community - demographically different. Remodel the bathroom and allow customers to sit and eat.
It takes too long for anyone to answer the phone. Today 7-31-15@ 7:45pm I called. The phone ringed about 20+ times before anyone answered. I asked for the bakery and it rung about 15+ before I just gave up trying to order a cake. This isn't the first time I've experienced no one answering the phone. Very frustrating. Not good for business.
Awesome environment. Great changes going on . Awesome place for the location
I have to say after this last trip to Kroger I'm going to tell everyone I know not to go there. All the other locations I've been to are great but this location needs someone to step in and clean it up. None one seems to care when a mistake is made at the register. The only people I see who look somewhat happy are the reps in the produce dept and on occasion the floral dept. The amount of apathy and the complete and utter lack of respect for the consumer runs rampant at this location. It would be nice to at least be greeted by the cashier but alas that appears to be asking to much. I think that someone from the divisional or corporate office needs to step in and do some remodeling of this store. The deli case is very small. The bathrooms are frequently out of order and even when clean don't look the best. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare. Its full of holes and bad patch jobs. As busy as this store is I would expect it to look better. Maybe it has something to do with the fact the store is not in the best part of town. I don't know. Also, while I appreciate the fact there are security guards at the store it is quite alarming that there necessary at all. Plus what is the point of the security guards just sitting in the little golf cart out front rather then working the store inside or at least driving the cart around the dark parking lot.As I said in the beginning, my recent visit was the final straw. I'll be doing all of my shopping elsewhere and am telling all of my friends to do the same. Keeping a good customer is hard work but apparently good customers don't matter to this store. All in all, I won't be returning to this storeUpdate: After speaking with the store manager about my experience he was less that concerned. I requested to have the phone number for the Kroger corporate office. He stated he couldn't find it at that moment but would call me the next day with the phone number. That was a month ago. Just another example of the poor service the Kroger employees at this location give to long time repeat customers.
