After a LONG day at work I pondered a while over where to go for take-out. I chose Pei Wei for the USUALLY fresh & healthier selection. I ordered the Honey Seared shrimp based on how the menu read, saying it wld include red bell pepper and scallions. After my 20 mile drive home, I discovered there were none of either atop my dish.(shrimp was also hard, dry, and few in number). I called the store and spoke with "Anthony" (night mgr?). He apologized and explained/excused why my dish was not prepared as described on the menu. He offered only the following:1.) It was late (close to 9 p.m.) and sometimes the bell peppers get "slimy" so they simply don't include them where they would ordinarily (I was not told of any exclusions there wld be before I ordered or i may have chosen one of my favs, the Kung Pao). He didn't bother to explain why there were no scallions AT ALL on my dish either. 2.) Anthony refused to even consider making good on my order because he said it was only a garnishmnt & suggested to me in his "tone" that my disappointment in my my dish was trivial and didn't matter. I verified that the meal would not be replaced. He cordially said not over a garnishment. I told him I'd be sure to include all of this in my review. He cordially said "ok", and then he cordially hung up. I will NEVER return to this location for sure, and likely not to the establishment. The decline in quality of food and service there are no longer worth it to me.Just before I ordered, I asked about a photo on the wall near the take-away register. I was told that was not a dish they sold anymore (carmel-something). So why advertise it so PROMINENTLY? I've been told that before about another dish that appeared on one of the paper menus....the ones that they've now done a way with completely at this location (you order from the marquis only---like at dairy Queen or something:)).If you HAVE to do Pei Wei at all...patronize the newer Chenal location. I have always found them to be better at preparing food fresh, fast, and accurately. Good Luck.
Probably the best Chinese Food I have eaten in a long time!!!! Will definitely be going back. Very reasonably prices, I have enough food to last for at least another two meals.
Overpriced, food was overcooked (unless you're into beef jerky), front desk staff were clueless, management doesn't care about their customers' experience (Kevin). Not enough wait staff to handle customers. Little Rock has far better restaurants than this marginal place. Last time for me.
Best Chinese in town! The food is great and the owners remember you by name. I've been coming here since 1995 and every time I come home, I make an order to take w/ me. The beef broccoli, shrimp and lobster sauce, combination friend rice and egg rolls are all great options. The egg drop soup isn't so good but they can't be perfect at everything lol.
The food is not good. I got I got a chicken dish. The chicken was poor quality and the rice was raw. Very disappointing.
Taste is good, quality is not. Chicken lo mein had very little chicken in it and sesame chicken had hair added for taste.
Best you can find in this area! Loved it! Very affordable and delicious. Would recommend this place to everyone who likes Chinese food! Lots of food on your plate too!
It is very helpful with finding restaurants in cities that I have never been to before. Also it tells you current gas prices too!
THEY HAVE THE BEST SHRIMP FRIED RICE IN TOWN AND ITS NOT A BOX OF GREASE !
Great food, good prices, and they cook it when you order it. Faster than I thought it would take. Will definitely go back.
