Not the one on Chenal in Little Rock AR. Dropped off suit on Tuesday afternoon. Went to pick up Thursday and was told it wasn't ready. Just went to pick up and it's missing! Was told it's at the other store. They are clueless and made no offer to make any type of amends. Bad first impression!
I have been using them for years and they do a fantastic job! I would recommend them to anybody! I've had them clean many very expensive items over the years and have always been pleased.
I've been a customer for more than 10 years and I feel Schickels Cleaners is the best dry cleaners in Little Rock. They have always been very careful with my business attire.
I researched the Hot Springs and Little Rock areas for a cleaner that does leather and suede clothing and found Levinson at 5004 Kavanaugh in Little Rock. It looked like they had a lot of experience; after all, they've been in business since 1912. I needed a suede jacket cleaned and they seemed to be able to do the job well. I was a little hesitant when signing their waiver as I left my jacket, but thought that these days, in the U.S.A., this must be fairly standard as Americans have a tendency to sue each other. The worst surprise I received was when I picked up my jacket. Upon hanging it on the hanger for me to take, the woman immediately told me that the person who cleaned it noted that it had holes in it. She said it might have been in the lining or something. I was in a hurry and unfortunately did not have the time to check it before leaving. In any case, I thought that the holes must be minor as I am very fastidious with my clothes and would certainly have noticed holes in the suede. When I got home tonight, I saw damage (about 2 or 3 little holes) at the right chest, at about the collar bone level. Being very picky about my clothes and their cleanliness, I would definitely have known there were holes there before leaving my jacket to be cleaned. But it's now my word against theirs and they have my signature on their release forms. So I'd like to give others a word of warning - either don't take your clothing that you very much value there, or take photos of things that you leave there, to show that they were not damaged when you left them. Don't regret it later, like I am regretting now, having put my trust in this company.
We started using this cleaners when Jeff took over formally with Comet Cleaners. Jeff and his crew have really changed this cleaners to the better. I give Jeff and this cleaners a thumps up, keep up the good work.
I've been going to Hangers Cleaners for over 4 years now. They are by far the best cleaners I've been to. I'm single and work a lot in business attire (Dress Shirts, Khakis, Suits, Polo shirts, etc) so I usually go to a cleaners on a regular basis. I have always had quick, superior service. I've tried out several cleaners in Little Rock and none have compared. I've never had a bad experience in the 4+ years that I've been going to Hangers. I started using them for my USMC Uniforms for ROTC and they always made sure it looked perfect for inspections. Many of my friends and classmates used Hangers Cleaners as well and always passed uniform inspections. The clerks and managers are very professional and courteous. I usually had to special (next day) for my uniforms to make sure I had it ready whenever I needed it, they would call me whenever the uniform was finished so I could get it at the earliest possible and most convenient time for me. There is no other cleaners I'll go to as long as there is a Hangers Cleaners near me, they are far superior to any cleaners I've been to and I've had nothing but excellent service. Definitely 5/5 stars.
I needed a couple of pairs of new pants hemmed. I took them to this cleaners with the NEW TAGS still on them, and told them that I wanted them hemmed. Obviously since they were new they did not need to be cleaned. When I came back to pick them up several days after they were promised, they had been cleaned. NEW PANTS! i never gave them permission to clean them, and they never told me that they were going to clean them, because I would not have left them if that were the case. They actually washed one pair for sure, and did not press a crease in them. These are business casual pants that I wear to work, and one pair did not even have a crease in them, and they did not even ask me if I wanted them dry cleaned or washed. I did not want new clothes washed or dry cleaned, but I especially would not have wanted them washed. The price was about double what the hemming was to cost. They totally ripped me off. I feel like It is the same as holding a gun to my head and forcing me to pay them. I don't recommend this place at all. I felt violated, and it should be against the law.
