Started in 1932, Bale Elementary School provides academic services to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school provides educational services to more than 300 students and has an instructional coach who provides curriculum development, learning, instruction and assessment services. Its Accelerated Reader Program is a computer based program which provides incentives and motivation for students and encourages reading for comprehension and enjoyment. Bale Elementary School operates the Reading Recovery program, which works with first grade students to provide a start with reading. The school has partnered with UALR Children International to provide After School Kid's Club, which offers voyager curriculum to enhance student achievement and provides enrichment activities. Its partners also include the Arkansas Department of Human Services. The school is operated by the Little Rock School District. Bale Elementary School is located in Little Rock, Ark.
