Dr. Rozas was able to fix my eye after three other doctors told me that there was nothing could be done for me. I was suffering from painful glare, light sensitivity, double images and discomfort for three years. My problem was caused by complications from cataract surgery done near home. I am told that this sort of thing is rare. Even more rare is finding a doctor who can fix the problem. But after three years, a friend told me about Dr. Rozas in Little Rock who fixed a problem her brother was having after surgery. I made the trip to Little Rock expecting to be told the same thing that other doctors told me, that I would just have to adjust to the symptoms. But Dr. Rozas told me that he thought there was a good chance he could at least reduce my symptoms. He didn't pull any punches and told me the good and the bad of having more surgery. A month after he operated to fix the problem, my eye is better than it was even four years ago. I finally found relief after three years of frustration. My appointments are usually on time and brief and to the point. Best of all, my eye is fixed. I wish I had known sooner that relief for my problem was out there. I wrote this review so that if someone else out there is having the same problem, they will know that there is hope.
I found the clinic through a google search because I do not have a regular doctor I see. I hardly ever have the need to see one. I am uninsured at the moment but found myself with a rash caused by an allergic reaction to something that I had come in contact with. I treated it with a couple of things, but it didn't seem to be making a difference so I began looking for a doctor. I called ahead to ask for an appointment. They told me to be there at 4pm, so I showed up about 15 minutes early expecting some paperwork. I was back with the nurse and doctor at 4pm and was leaving by 4:45. They weren't too busy that particular afternoon, but I thought they were very nice and everything moved quickly which I appreciated. Dr Murad and the nurse practitioner were extremely nice and helpful. They answered questions and explained everything to me and prescribed some things to get rid of the rash quickly. It did not cost me an arm and a leg and it was 100% worth it. Dr Murad even sent a text the next day to check on me and made sure I knew I could email, call or text or just come back by to see him if there was a problem or just to let him check the progress. Great place!
There are four surgeons that practice at the Little Rock Surgical Clinic, but I only have experience with one of them. Everyone is very professional and caring and they'll do everything they can to take care of your needs. Every time I've had an appointment, I've been called within 30 minutes of my appointment time. One experience I had with them: I showed up for an appointment extremely weak from severe dehydration and they wanted me to go straight to the hospital, which conveniently is right across the street. I had driven myself to the clinic, but they didn't want me to risk my life, even driving the short 2 minutes it would take to get to the hospital. My surgeon actually offered to pay a cab fare, but luckily, there was a nurse there that was willing to personally take me and make sure I was taken care of. I strongly recommend these doctors for whatever your needs may be. There are two colorectal surgeons and two general surgeons. I really do love this clinic!
I suddenly feel ill on a quick trip from New York to Little Rock. You could imagine how upset I was that I was thousands of miles away from my primary care doctors! All nerves subsided, however, when Dr. Murad assisted me in getting back on my two feet again--just in time to board the plane home! One thing I wish New York had more of is hospitality--particularly the kind that's found at this office. Dr. Murad gave me enough medication to take care of my ailments, and made sure it was affordable and even accessible in New York should I have needed refills once I returned home. He also, however, was able to diagnose a back problem that I've had for six years now--something that a handful of doctors in New York couldn't even do! That's fantastic! Compassionate and caring doctors are hard to come by up here. For that reason, I wish I lived in Little Rock so I could make Dr. Murad my permanent physician. You simply don't find medical care like this anymore!
Gosh, I cannot believe these reviews are about the same physician and office as the one that I'm familiar with. I had complained of pain to my GYN and to my PCP and they simply ignored me. When I finally talked to a neurosurgeon and he said he couldn't help surgically, he gave me the referral to Dr. Mocek. My interaction with him leads me to believe that he is anything but a jerk! He has always been kind and helpful to me. I have to admit the price of the drug testing is daunting, but because I have much less pain than before, I just put up with it. I've had some bland interactions with some of the staff, but I've also had some great ones with nursing staff on their clinic days as well as during procedures. The scheduling persons are always courteous and efficient. Wish you'd give them another try!
i have had several pain doctors throughout the years and i have been so blessed to have found Dr. Mocek. He has an excellent bedside manner, is patient and listens to you. He takes his time and finds out the best option for you. I have an uncommon nerve disorder and is extremely painful but with Dr. Moceks help my pain is under control which is a dream come true. I have my life back which is what he strives for. Typically depending on what is being done you are looking at maybe 45 minutes to an hour wait. unfortunately for pain doctors that is just part of it. I have waited MUCH longer at ther pain doctors. If you are looking for a kind, trustworthy, dr that will take action to get you out of pain he is your man
It is unbelievable the care I was given at Little Rock Walk In Medical Clinic. Not only is Dr. Murad an extremely talented physician, but he is also a very compassionate person. I first saw him because I was having sinus issues, he quickly fixed me up and had me back in class the next day. While there I mentioned I was seeing a physician for knee problems and that I was about two months away from a double knee replacement (at the age of 22!). He said that if i simply would loss weight (i was 228 lbs at 5'10) he bet my knee troubles would disappear. Today I saw Dr. Murad and I now weigh 170 lbs (only 10 more to go) and my knees never hurt! They have been reexamined and now there is nothing there! he's the best!
Dr. Murad as his staff are excellent. Dr. Murad makes u feel like you are his only patient. He's incredibly knowledgeable, he listens and address each and every concern. I went to him because I needed to see someone immediately, it was afterhours and I couldn't wait for my regular PCP to fit me in. After my first visit, Dr. Murad became my PCP. There really are not words to describe how awesome Dr Murad is, his diagnosis and treatment is always 100% accurate. He even goes the extra mile by following up with you a few days later to make sure the medication is working and that your condition has improved. I am a very pleased patient and so happy that I found him.
About four years ago I injured my SI joint. It was the most pain I ever experienced. A friend recommended Touchstone. Mike, the therapist worked with me slowly and carefully until I recuperated. He knew exactly what to do. He not only is a licensed therapist but he also is certified in SI joint problems, which is not always easy to find. I still do the exercises that he taught me and I have very little problems today. I use to take shots for the problem and even contemplated surgery at one time. But thats in the past now. I have a daughter who is a physical therapist so I know a little about theropy. And believe me he is good.
Great experience! Convenient location and very easy to find. I was suprised that the clinic was open 15 minutes before its posted hours. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Murad is extremely kind and thorough. He takes his time with each patient and requests a follow up to verify your condition has improved. To top it off, I have no insurance and was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for treatment and medication. I was relieved that the cost was so reasonable. In addition, my prescription was called in immediately and I was able to go straight to the pharmacy to pick it up. Truly great experience!
