I originally called AAA for repair to my washer and dryer that I purchased elsewhere and I didn't purchase a warranty. I had to call Metro three times in five years! I since purchased new ones and several other home appliances from AAA Home Center and some furniture. These are some of the nicest people I have ever done business with.

I had a leak from my washing machine line upstairs in my condo. These guys did a great job figuring out what the problem was and fixing it, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. They were very professional and courteous, and were the only company who answered the phone and came out on the same day. I had to leave messages with other companies. We have used Russell and Lemay for years on our home as well as several rent houses and have always been very pleased with their service.....until yesterday. We were scheduled to have a technician come out and work on our AC unit. We started getting concerned when it was getting late and still no technician. We were told not to worry, someone WILL be there. At 7:30 PM, we called again because we were concerned again. Technician calls back yelling and shouting that we have no idea what he is going through. We requested a call back from management but haven't received that call yet.
I have been a loyal customer of AAA Appliance since the early 1990’s. I bought my 1st Maytag washer from them. In 2002, I purchased a Fisher & Paykel washer from AAA. It lasted until December 2011. I purchased another Fisher & Paykel. It only lasted until April 18, 2012. On Saturday, April 21, 2012, I went to AAA Appliance to inform the owner of the short lived service life of this washer. I spoke with Adam Combs, the owner’s son. Later, the owner, Steve Combs joined in with the discussion of the problem of this washer. It was disclosed, Fisher & Paykel are experiencing problems with the water pump on their washers. Our water pump started leaking which lead to a short with the computer board. Again, this is a common problem with the washers. I was informed the pump is $60.00 and the Computer Board is $175.00 to replace! Both Scott and Adam were very rude. They offered no resolution to the washer that only lasted 30 months. They admitted it was a faulty washer and Scott even showed me a retro-fit from the factory to repair the washer. The washer costed me $600.00 and Adam & Scott wants to charge me more than $200.00 to repair a faulty product they sold me! I made it very clear I was VERY UNHAPPY with their poor customer service and product. I will never purchase or recommend a purchase from this business. The Combs are very pleasant and appear to display excellent customer service before and during a sale. They are just the opposite when you have a problem. They are all about increasing sales revenue and they portray the attitude of pissing off one customer here and there won’t affect their business. I am also in the customer service industry. My products are in more than 38 states and 5 countries. We serve about 50 customers locally each day. In my business, we strive for “Outrageous Customer Service.” Occasionally we also have unhappy customers, but we do whatever it takes to make them happy!!!! I plan for follow up with this complaint on Facebook and file with the Better Business Bureau.
