I was there 7 hours for a hairstyle that should take no more than 3. I arrived on time and after washing my hair, I waited almost 3 hours (from 10:45am to 1:30pm) for an actual stylist to touch my hair. I don't know if they were down a person or overbooked but no matter, unless you are getting braids, you should never spend 7 hours at a hair salon. They are nice but I will never go back to them and will not recommend them to anyone.

The hair is ok but the customer service is a absolute mess.. The females there don't smile at you or nothing.. The last time I went which was about 2 or 3 weeks ago there were 5 females behind the counter just looking like we stole their men... The vibe there is horrible made me really not want to buy anything... There need be some happy looking females working there
Yesterday was my first time at true glory i drove two hours to come here i have to say this was my worst customer service experience the ladies just look at you and when asked a question they just point at a picture the attitudes were really bad also i spent $300 on hair and they just pull it from under the counter and throw it in a plastic bag the hair looks like its been played with..never will buy hair here again
this place is awesome I go there to get my beard lined up and my hair shaved bald the service is impeccable
I have only bought Brazilian hair from true glory because that is what I am accustomed to but after yesterdays experience I won't be going back. They always have girls in there with horrible attitudes. Do they think their hair is that good that they can't have good customer service? I went in yesterday and they were out of just about all their hair. They only had short inches. I asked the girl which hair did she have and she just pointed to the wall. Then I looked at the hair which was about 14 inches and it looked like people had just been running their fingers through it. I watched as she threw another customers hair in the little black bag with no regard to the fact that she just spent about $200 for it. I asked when they would be having more hair she said she don't know. ( well thanks for all your help... NOT!) I was at the lithonia location. I always receive the same service from them just horrible. I went somewhere else and bought my hair received great service got to ask as many questions as I wanted without an attitude and it came nicely bagged.
Horrible customer service . I didn't like how the hair is just thrown inside the bag and you don't get to see what hair looks like. Also the bundles I have gotten were smaller than usual and shorter
I called to inquire about pricing and try to make an appointment! I have an appointment somewhere at 11am. This place opens at 9am. I called to ask if its possible for me to be out at about 10:15/1030am if im the very first customer, I couldn't even ask my question because I was being cut off with No's! I understand that you cant promise me a set time but don't be rude about it! I was already skeptical about going here and that just sealed the deal! No Thanks someone else will get my business!
I had my hair braided here for the first time earlier this year. The owner ' Matou' is ignorant and don't know how to braid hair. It was messy. The person that put my braids in made them way too tight. She even told me my hair would fall out! What kind of crap is that to say when you are putting someones braids in their hair? The only positive thing is my hair was able to rest, therefore it grew. I had to google to find out how to take care of them. They tell you in their advertisements that they take care of your hair. They really don't. Nobody there told me how to take care of my braids. They just said not to wash them. I went to google and researched how to keep my scalp and natural hair in good condition. They were no help. I was referred to them by someone. Now I want to slap her for referring me to them. She has even had a lot of hair lost. I didn't. Some of my braids did come out. In the beginning I lost about 3-4 braids a week. I had to remove the braids from all of the fine baby hair around the front of my head. This is a terrible place. Then their bathroom is nasty. You can't even flush toilet paper down the toilet. They had a trash can overflowing with tissue that had people's human waste on it. Nasty..Really nasty. They don't EVER have to worry about me returning there to get my braids put in. I took them out myself! Another thing, they say that they accept cash, debit and credit cards. They ONLY ACCEPT CASH. They don't honor their own coupons. The braids were pretty, but that's it. They speak their African language (French) around you. That's really rude! They need to speak English. I have a friend that's African and she is educated; however she did tell me that the majority of African Women are ignorant. They are fool proof of that. I will never return to this place to have my hair braid. EVER again! They did NOTHING to tell me how to take care of my braids. I didn't want to give them any stars, but unfortunately you have to in order to post your experience on this page.
The all natural treatments here are AMAZING!!! I cannot LIVE without my honey treatment! It makes my hair so full and soft! I also love the hair silking process! My hair looks like strands of flowing silk and feels even smoother and more healthy! My hair would go through WITHDRAWAL without my biweekly dose of Oyade!!!!
I came here yesterday and I got twist not small but medium size. I'm not sure if I can post pictures but I will of the work. I told her I wanted them full and when she finished they would not full in the middle.... You can see a lot of parts. So I'm assuming the manager came and fixed it . I still was not happy she kept saying we are the best we will fix it we are the best there is we will fix it. You will leave here happy. I was not happy I call the next day and the man asked me when do I want to come in to get it fixed. Number one if they are the best they should not have to fix anything.. I get the Swiss all the time but my normal braider was not available so I had to go somewhere new..they gonna say its the hair I had.My hair is natural and I get the same style all the time and used the hair before..you can youtube it..rasta afri hair.if you have natural hair..you are familar with hair typing.Iam a 3c...,my point in mentioning this is the naturals on youtube have a tighter curl pattern than me and use the hair and their hair does not stick out. The african gonna try and say its my hair and the lady didnt use jam.. no she used it.and either way.. that does not keep hair from sticking out... And then he is gonna try and say I didnt want my hair blowdried when I first came in..my hair was not wet when I came in.just plaited up... all i needed to do was pick it out..which i did.im soo angry right now and why do I want them to fix it when they could not do right first time?I will gladly take my refund and wait for my original braider...Im not giving them a chance to do something they should of did right first time. Its an inconvience..noone has time for that.do not go here
