        After practicing podiatry in Florida for the past 29 years, Dr. Shields and his wife, Alberta, have decided to return north to the Litchfield area to be closer to their sons and their families. While in Florida, Dr. Shields was the founder of Atlantic Podiatry Associates with three partner and four offices. He has treated all facets of podiatric care of the foot and ankle, and he is now looking forward to bringing his knowledge and experience to patients in Northwest Connecticut.
